What gets me the most is that this boss chick is supposed to be his senior from university so she should know that he’s got this condition and she blatantly took advantage of that and I swear that’s cost for a lawsuit if it was here in the states but over there, it’s just going to be chocked up as he’s the guilty party.

I think that the ML will improve significantly with his illness because it is not like a terminal life sentence type of disease thank the Lord. But what she expects of him is just ridiculous and should just stay with SML and date him because this is a healthy man that feels feelings and doesn’t have a health condition and you can like him and be with him. If she wants to continue to be with ML she needs to start coming at this from a more educated perspective.

I mean the fact that he was able to learn to show concern is huge for people with this kind of disability. Meanwhile, she wants him to climb Mount Everest and be exactly as the SML is with his feelings like this girl has no concept whatsoever of what’s going on around her.

Actually, in this one, I was talking about the boss, but yes, you hit the nail on the head with FL. She can’t put herself in his shoes she would have to completely erase her emotions and any feeling.

Well, it doesn’t look like her mother is ready to come out with whatever her illness is to her either. I think there’s going to be some hospitalization or some thing and she’s going to learn of her mom‘s condition. I don’t know what it is, it could be something as simple as gastritis or could be something as bad as cancer.

Yeah, I pretty much skipped that entire bunch of episodes because it’s like throwing a surprise party for someone Who is afraid of surprises. You don’t know what that reaction will be. You don’t know how this person with this type of illness will feel. The Sel is basically working off of her own blindness experience to give advice and it doesn’t work that way. His therapist should be also, advising her on what she should and shouldn’t do. She obviously cares about him. We know that, but she is trying to shove a peg into a square hole or a sick person into what she imagines a healthy person to be. If that’s what she wants then she should just date SML and call it a day.

100%. I really do think her mothers condition whatever it is will probably make her understand him more.

I don’t think I can wait until tomorrow afternoon to watch this so I’m going to be watching it tonight with everybody, but I’ll start now since I’m still on episode 27.

We definitely need that with subs. But at least she finally knows the truth. Hallelujah. I think I may actually watch the two tonight with the rest of you guys and watch that one now to come up to that one.

Wow, I can’t believe we get the final episodes tomorrow. This is truly been a trip, a journey. I’ll definitely have to think about the review, but we’ll see how they’ll end it and what the casualty count is.

His boss is a real disgusting bitch, doing to him what she did. She took every advantage of him that she could and ostracized him from the industry; she totally set him up and I truly hope she gets her just desserts. This man needs a hug and a daily reminder that he matters.

I think in the beginning, she saw treating him as maybe like a “fun challenge“ but when she realized that it was a long term commitment, and that it’s going to leave you exhausted as it does for most people who are around others with chronic illnesses again, I speak from personal experience as I have a chronic illness, though not neuropsych mine is neuro-immune; people who are caretakers of those like myself and others go through the gambit of emotions because we are not easy patients. Now she’s demanding things from him that he cannot deliver and she just does not understand that. I think she needs to go through a crisis herself to understand better.

Actually, not at all. You are talking about him like he’s a regular human being and not a man with a chronic illness stemming from trauma. No, he’s not paying for emotional support, but she basically forced herself upon him in the beginning as well as to treat him. I call it BS because, everything she has been doing has been about her and her feelings. He has jumped through unbelievable hoops for someone with such an illness just to tell her and more importantly show her that he cares about her. If you don’t understand what chronic illnesses are then you shouldn’t be telling other people how they should respond to something like this. If he was a healthy human being with no neuropsych conditions then she’s allowed to everything she’s feeling. But in this case it’s a completely different story and the fact that people are ignoring it is a huge problem. This isn’t your general romcom; have some empathy for the man struggling with something he cannot control. And also, please educate yourself on the disease.

I actually skipped a few episodes because I can’t take the BS. Just gonna watch 17 and then the two tomorrow and I hope we get a better schedule. This girl really seriously needs character development and growth. The man is doing the best he can given the illness he has and she’s still just acts like everything is about her.

Edit: maybe it’s her mom‘s medical condition that will help with her growth. Because it’s quite obvious her mom is struggling with some sort of gastric issue that she’s not telling her daughter.
