Why is this drama underrated? I haven't watched it yet but both leads are well known and good actors. I will wait…
And ppl have no idea the difference between a real wuxia (this) and every other drama they have seen with fight scenes. Plus not really wanting to understand the background of the ML. It’s not underrated; ppl pay too much attention to the ratings. Watch and decide for yourself; it’s not perfect but the storytelling is there and the fighting is phenomenal.
Btw yesterday’s episode scene on the dock where BYT was acting all pitiful and ZZ basically setting his mind straight and then BYT’s water theatrics but ZZ being there when he resurfaced and holding out his hand so BYT could clasp it, I thought was a powerful moment and scene.
Can I yell at the audacity of the Fourth Aunt. Not only did she hide the fact that Bai's brother wasn't the murderer,…
I knew there was something fishy about her. I’ll be watching later but yeah to be the only one in the family to supposedly care about him, nah….too suspicious.
Hey girl, good to see you here. You are 100% on point with everything. I wish more people had the capacity to…
Exactly. I don’t compare dramas even if they’re the same genre because each one is unique and it’s important to see the stories. I’m a novelist/author and have written different plots so I know what a solid storyline looks like and this is it.
The actor who plays HF has I don’t think ever played a protagonist so we will see where his story goes. But in today’s episodes, there’s definitely going to be a lot of traps set and fighting to both survive and to bring down certain facts. That SZJ dude is at this point a stalker to HLL. All he wants is the treasure that comes with marrying her, but I hope that he dies before he ever even looks at it.
I believe SML‘s brother was innocent, but framed by all the bad guys so they could screw around with two families at the same time. Too many inconsistencies there. And it seems from one of the Weibo little clips that the plague was a man-made poison, so something to distract the residents.
repost....Seeing a lot of people in the comments asking why our "Imperial Cat" always holds back from…
Also, the part about him “protecting“ the bad guys from the sex slave trade when in reality he’s not protecting them, he’s protecting the evidence that they hold within them so that they can testify in court. That’s the epitome of justice! If you kill off all the evidence, how the hell are you going to bring down the conspiracy? The fact that ML runs on a completely different moral ground than those in the more show arts world should be fairly recognizable. After all, he’s basically like a cop and a detective all rolled into one. He’s there to look for evidence, for clues not to just kill people, even if they are in the wrong or doing heinous things. The more evidence he can gather against them, the faster the court can judge them and execute them.
