Well we didn't see She'er in this scene. So that's later, but interesting theory. He saw Mimi get shot, so before he flew off to fight uncle asshole, he knew this fact. That Mimi took the shot for CG. Maybe he didn't expect her to die; I don't know, but I just felt given his reaction to anything CG related, that's the last type of reaction I would expect.

True. His usual response is to grab and hold her especially When she's sad, scared, hurt, etc. Plus she's never wept in front of him before; cried yes but was always like Wonder Woman but here she's weeping and he's like our old pal ice cube.
