Tomorrow eve I'll start on "You Are My Hero." As that is actually getting good reviews from some trusted sources.

I may put this down or on-hold and go for something else. I'm on 29 and have very little motivation to continue. Saw a trailer on Weibo and there may be a break up or something close tomorrow. But I think that I may just watch it when the rest of the episodes come out. As is I frequently use the fast forward button.

Didn't know that re broadcasters but that def explains a lot. Really wish they stuck to quality as opposed to quantity.

Zhang Han has typecast himself into these kinds of dramas. It's all what he seems to take. I'm hearing a lot of good things about "You Are My Hero" and I may just put this one down (I'll finish it eventually but I don't think I can stomach much more and I'm on episode 29) and go watch that; it was next on my list anyways. Maybe you should try it too.

I wasn't a fan of TMPB but at least that had Vengo Gao and Dilraba to help it along and do well. This thing is just a way to drag out to episode 45. I would def put it into the mediocre drama section. It's part of the cliche one note dramas. Like when practically the entire audience watching knows there will be a break up or who essentially is responsible for whichever supposed secret, it takes the enjoyment out of watching. Wish these dramas never went above 30 episodes honestly.

LOL. Maybe not 16 but at 25 or 30, would be great.

The actor wasn't drunk. Could be nerves from the intensity of the kiss. They're usually very dainty with kisses in cdramas.

I have heard his costume drama "The Four" is good but the rest of his stuff is all one note dramas. As handsome as he is, I can't stomach another one of these. This will be my last one of his modern dramas for a while if not for good. I have other things on my watchlist to get to. Regardless of the happy ending which according to some should happen here, it's not worth it for me. I'll finish it since I've already come so far, but I'm done after this. Doesn't say here that's he's EP of this one but who knows really. If the ones he is EP of are exact copies of each other with even the same cast members, then it's not worth it. I have watched some awesome cdramas myself, sadly this doesn't come close. Thanks for your thoughts as well. :)

Wouldn't surprise me either. Honestly, he has typecast himself in this kind of role and he apparently thinks it's a good thing. He only knows how to play this one kind of character. I watched him previously in "Boss &Me" which starred ZLY and it was great but that was broadcast in 2014. This one is just a mess; too many antagonists and poorly written. It won't get above a 6 from me on ratings when I'm done, if I can stomach finishing. Obviously he's not responsible for screenwriting and directing but why must these cliche series keep happening?

I feel sad to realize he lost his father recently as he spoke about him in the latest episode of Bravo Youngsters.

Really hope. I haven't gotten to 32 yet or wherever everyone is but will in the next few days.

I'm guessing the happy ending happens in episode 45 because it's been an ongoing train wreck for a while. Lol

Tomorrow I'll be on 26. I can't deal with that crazy train Xueling. As soon as she's in a scene with anyone other then ML, I skip. Like I can't. That overbearing whining about how she's owed something and screwing with everything like that's going to make him love her. I mean the actress is doing a phenomenal job at being a total loony but I just personally can't watch it. ML needs to grow larger balls and get rid of that entire family from his company before they sabotage it to death. ML and FL cute moments are literally the only thing getting me from not dropping this drama.
