It's the same as last year. First rumored in March, then August, then November and nothing happened. I don't believe any rumors period. Only official announcements and thus far there have been none. And it's only Tencent that does this. IQiY, Youku, MGTV, BTV, CCTV, Dragon tv, all provide ample promotion for their respective series. While Tencent who is technically the richest and largest, does literally squat. Nothing we can do but wait.

No idea on the copyright expiration though I've followed everything imaginable on Weibo and have reliable sources. I know there was a battle btwn Hunan and dragon tv and Hunan put out an astronomical price for purchasing the copyright that no one has yet been able to purchase. Maybe CCTV and dragon can work together to get the copyright away from Hunan. But at this point, your guess is as good as mine on when it'll come. It's their propaganda year so a lot of series and films are being done by every satellite tv channel. As for Tencent, they're the cheapest billionaire conglomerate on earth. They don't market any of their series and rely on the fans of each one. Ridiculous really. If you look at The Wolf, LOF, DC, The Long Ballad, other series under their company, don't have more then a 24 hour period before they're dropped on fans heads. So ridiculous. I have 2.5 degrees in business and I've never seen anything like it domestically (USA) or internationally.

First modern drama I wished there were like 50 plus episodes. Seriously. Usually I wish them to be 30 max. This one outdid everything I've seen. Perfection in my eyes.

Oh I see. Thank you for explaining. Never got into K-dramas. This one was just extra special but I like the combo of SWAT and doctor; it makes logical sense for couples.

I've watched this drama and loved it but I'm seeing a lot of references in the comments and reviews to something called DOTS. Can someone please explain why? Thanks.

It's not Tencent that's the hold up but Hunan. Until they release it on their tv channel (they have copyrights), Tencent can't/won't do anything about it.

This series deserves a higher rating here then an 8.6. The hot mess I dropped is also above an 8, lord knows why. Ppl need to be honest with ratings.

Why was this thing shelved in the first place? If they can release "My Strange Friend" randomly like they did last year, I hope they can do the same with this. ~face floor~
