No, I don’t expect the reciprocation to happen immediately. Obviously, she’s not there yet. But if his secret gets exposed, she’s not going to be dragged down with him. He’s going down alone. If her secret gets exposed because crazy Prince has already gone in front of the emperor, and as he continues to collect his obsessive evidence, he’s gonna keep doing stuff that will put her family in jeopardy. So she’s got the other one to worry about not this one. And yes, he did manipulate her just like she’s been manipulating him, but he did that before he fell in love with her, which he lay it all out on the table. The fact that in yesterday’s episodes, the crazy Prince even said to his younger brother who he swore to adore that he will not let him marry his assumed late wife, even though there’s no confirmation yet that this is who she is and going against little bro, that way just shows who the real trouble is.
I don’t deny that when he didn’t know her by he I mean the ML that he did some things that weren’t right which included lying about who he was, but he had his own reasons for it. He also said in yesterday‘s episodes “everyone has secrets, I am not in the right to pry into other people‘s like yours.” His secrets are to find out who poisoned him. My biggest worry is somewhere in there crazy Prince is going to find some other evidence to point that she is his dead wife and run to the emperor or do something equally crazy and somehow harm her. If enough tangible evidence is presented she could be in real trouble from the crazy one. And that a shit ton more likely than from the one so carefully hidden that the only way she figured it out is because she has the nose of a Doberman and can smell incense from seven counties away or whatever someone said below.

Yes, that was the original thought process however, I think, despite that some other viewers have noticed that she likes him at least a little as well, though she hasn’t entirely realized it yet, and I think it also frightens her a little.

I wouldn’t go as far as nobody knows. We’ve got one crazy prince that believes he knows so that may cause problems for her in the future. As for his secret, he’s still dying. Be he a martial expert or not. On top of that given how he has already treated her, we can see that even if everything is exposed, he’s not going to drag her down with him. He’s gonna go down on his own. Because as he said, when he becomes emperor if he gets in her way, he can just die early. If he had secret agendas that could harm her or her family it’s understandable but he if exposed could just simply say she had no idea about any of it and without any evidence what could the emperor or anyone else prove. She understands that whoever poisoned him is someone very deep in the court that’s why he’s hiding but for her it’s more well what if he starts scheming against me not what if the fact that he’s got the secret identity and I’m a part of it is revealed. That’s where my problem lies is the fact that she given everything that he’s done for her, doesn’t even believe that he would not scheme against her in anyway. Just using a little common sense would be enough, but hopefully according to little clips on Weibo, her father comes for a visit so they have to still continue to be the engaged couple and he’s not obviously going to give up and then he wins her father over so the only thing left is a date and her understanding what a kindred spirit really is.
