I think from Sturch to finish this drama was great. I mean there was maybe water two scenes that could’ve not been in there but other than the choppy editing everything was very well done. Especially the lead actors. DYX’s characters split personality thing was crazy. I mean it’s very hard for any actor to pull off something like that.
Censorship did strike quite a few times because there were a lot of uneven edits due to it.
No, I don’t see BL in this at all sorry. And that’s not a genre I would watch to begin with. There was a brotherly relationship and nothing more. But yeah censorship definitely screwed a lot of moments where they weren’t even necessary. Like why show the picture but then not have it in the series?

I mean, there was a picture of when ZHX was resurrected and ZHL ran to see him and gave him like a brotherly neck hug and they cut that out, even though there was a picture of it on the site so censorship really bit into this one.
Well, I finally finished it after again not sleeping all night. Hopefully will get some sleep now I gave it a 9.5/10 and to me it was an open ending. They were just so many unanswered questions and just because this is the universe that people come back from the dead all the time I think there is a probability of a season two I checked out the writers Weibo and he seemed to be hinting at something I wasn't sure exactly what it was, but I honestly didn't think the ending was bad because of everything I saw and everything that was said. A lot of many unanswered questions but this show was very good. Not a perfect score but very good. I would recommend it despite the ending that many people didn't like. I will probably ride a small review since many people know I don't write them as I used to due to health reasons, but it will probably take a bit of time to do. If you like this franchise, I definitely recommend this show and I was blown away by DYX's performance as Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde the ability for the split personality and how he could flip on a dime like that was pretty awesome.
So the relic snake, where did it come from because the first bite that ML saw was of shrimpy not his mentor even though she is eventually in there. I think the snake came from ZQL watching the situation unfold to see where he needs to come in. Also if ZHL's heart is on the right side, I think so is ZHX's and I don't think ZHL stabbed the right side. I could be wrong though, but the stab probably pierced ZHX's lungs putting him back into suspended animation, which is why we need season two. Wu Xie hit the nails on the head with all of his comments.
