Just found out that the actor who I call the little shit with the dimples aka SYQ is a former child star….like starting at 3 years old type of child. Pretty neat; didn’t know him at all before.
I think the whole military sequence was a bust. From a all over the place fl to a leader playing a foot soldier…
I just hope that we don’t have to see that anymore. Because technically the rebels have been scrubbed out. And it’s all more angling toward a palace arc now. I’m not even going to try to explain her BS and what the writers did to the character just because when it comes to writing, it does not make any sense whatsoever. And people are plotting that kind of thing have no sense of what goes on into character development whatsoever.

It absolutely is and the fact that she doesn't even take responsibility for her little brother's death when she told him to stay close to her and all of her constant preoccupations on the battlefield an ML still gives her the big guy to finish. I don't understand why it's like all of a sudden some kind of magical transformation happened and all of his years of training and knowledge went to her except for well most of the knowledge. She still can't read, nor write, nor can she understand strategy in war, but she is given these positions like she earned them and I'm sorry, but she did not. The mistakes that she made other than killing big bad dad at what price? I am tired of people defending her because the hypocrisy is through the roof, her herculean. God of war stuff is ridiculous, and it came literally out of nowhere. The writers didn't even build up to it it's like they just threw it in there and thought audiences wouldn't notice it. And many are just swallowing it happily like it should be that way when it's completely the opposite. I wonder if the FL ever thinks of how ML is doing if he has a cold or is he suffering when she's not around. Yes he gets injured but it's a war that's what happens. I mean, we both have described the same stuff and it's incredibly frustrating and I'm tired of her getting this beyond special treatment Because we all know that had ML been given his proper screen time and allowed to do what he's supposed to do as the general of generals most of these losers would've been dead a lot sooner and her friend wouldn't have died and his men wouldn't have suffered. Yes war sucks but what sucks even more is when the person in charge has absolutely no idea how to strategize the next move or what they're really doing Other than fighting with their weapons and remembering a few choice words here and there. She doesn't have a genius IQ for this stuff she's literally learning as she goes.
And I feel very bad for ZLH because in numerous interviews he said that he had filmed many fighting scenes but we aren't seeing them and haven't and there are only nine episodes left. She's the red flag in this relationship. She thinks slapping hitting punching and pushing is the way to get a point across because of the way she grew up butchering pigs, but humans aren't pigs especially the one you supposedly love. And even then hitting animals isn't smart either she smacked that bird falcon of his Lord knows how many times.
She should have stayed behind him and listen to him, but the fact that everyone has been growling to her has really gotten her narcissist thing in the way I kind of feel like they have a sadomasochist relationship. She's the sadist and he's the masochist. I mean we saw yesterday he cut off that dumbasses ear so obviously he's very capable and we need to see that capability not just focus on the chick that can't let go of something that's not hers. Sometimes I even wonder whether she really loves him or is just appreciative of him even though it's quite obvious he's head over heels in love with her.
I hope she doesn't raise her swords in any more battles for the rest of the show and let the ML do his thing. She could put on armor I don't care but other than that sticker as a minister since she knows how to talk for a mile and that's it. The only light at the end of the tunnel for me because I'm only watching this drama for ZLH is because this is the first time he got a chance to play general and wear the garb and the very heavy headgear and ride a horse and be able to fight with a spear because prior to that he was primarily playing scholars that couldn't really fight. Even though obviously his fighting time and strategies and everything have been compromised, he got to fulfill his wish and the drama he's currently filming is also along those lines where he goes from like sort of like a beggar or a Robin Hood of sorts to a Military commander. I just hope that in this next drama, he gets to really show off his general pros.
I really wish also that they had done this like they did with Fated Hearts where you have two equal partners FL is bow and arrows and ML is sword, but they are a unit. Not one overshadows completely the other and in the most stupidest and ridiculous way possible with zilch experience.
Anyways, I think we've talked this topic to death so hopefully the last 10 episodes with express coming hopefully Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. We can finally get what we want to see. I know they're supposed to be a battle between ML and his bastard uncle so hopefully that'll be a bit more.
