Poisoning doesn’t surprise me, but it was like extra. It was unneeded unnecessary and now on top of everything else we have to deal with this. The thing I’ve noticed in this comment section and on Weibo as well is that nobody really talks about the plot anymore. everyone is talking about the ML and the poison. Because of what the writers did they shifted the focus from the actual story to something that was completely unnecessary and technically insignificant. It’s significant because it’s the ML and he’s the one suffering, but because of how the writers did it, the plot is insignificant in comparison.

But were the brides themselves as human beings innocent? Because it seemed like he just found whomever he can find from a village somewhere that no one would ever miss. Vengeance does not equal justice.

Was looking for some clues in the schedule since it has a lot of emojis on it and on the 13th it looked like a stick on fire and some kind of a bug so wasn’t the ingredient needed called the fire cicada? Maybe that’s what that is and they are able to find it.
