I hope you are right. I am so in no mood for this to have a Nirvana in Fire-style ending. I know there is a school…
I like the actual plot just not this bullshit in between.

Title The Wanted Detective Spoiler
I was hoping based on previews that it was looking like he was going to get cured next episode, only for them…
They can’t solve all of their cases in a month nor exonerate him. It’s just not feasible. So I think something will have to give at some point. Also remember previews are often misleading.

Title The Wanted Detective Spoiler
I still have hope they'll get the antidote.I suspect Bei Ming is Yesha after the Fengbo Lake murder because the…
It would be a pretty unique twist, but again there is no motive for him to set himself up to go through all of that with the poison and with everything else. I do think he was an orphan from that massacre from one of the clips that I saw, but in order for him to orchestrate all of that and get all these people on board he would’ve had to have been planning for a very long time all the while on the surface in the light working as a constable about to get married so that’s the whole can’t be in two places at once. Whoever the masked man is has to be a bit older. There are plenty of survivors from that massacre, but the clip showed me that he was literally an infant hence not remembering anything so why would he go through all of this trouble. Logically it does not make sense.

Maybe there is a twist, there is a possibility that the old hug is not telling the truth since he is one of Yesha's…
Yeah, it seems like he does, but I’m guessing they still have to make us more pissed off while we wait for it. And in the meantime, the rest of the plot just has to keep chugging along.

I don’t know where and how this was possibly an original thought process considering just how many tropes they threw into it in the first six episodes or less. The ML essentially was drugged, then framed then shot with an arrow nearly drowning, somehow survived, went on some adventure we still don’t know the whole story of for three years, returned, was then stabbed in the shoulder, poisoned with the “wrong“ lethal poison, oh, and fell off a cliff. Surviving all of that now he has to clear his name and somehow find a cure for this lethal poison. Because out of all the bottles, FL could’ve grabbed She grabbed the most lethal one. I think the first time this type of storyline was used was maybe 40 years ago. Make it make sense please 🤦🏻‍♀️.

iQiyi needs to drop all the episodes ASAP before Legend of the Female General buries this drama completely.
This drama already had a lot going against it with the poisoning and all the other tropes plus the FL‘s RBF nonstop since the first episode. And seeing just how many people are ready for female general, I won’t be surprised at all if what you say happens. I’m going to be watching it as well. I want to finish this one and hope that we don’t have a dead ML at the end. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Dumb writers; don’t you remember what Whitney said about crack? It’s whack! Yet yall still couldn’t say no!

Haha, I remember that movie!
I only figured it out after I posted it. I mean, I was still a kid back then, but considering we are in a new millennium and pretty far into it; yeah we all aged ourselves there. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I think the writers took drugs before they wrote that in because if they were hoping to see angst from the audience, the only thing they are getting is annoyance and people being very angry and it’s so distracting from the actual plot and storyline. Like you have all this stuff going on and then whoops he spitting up blood and he’s unconscious and then one more flare and he’s dead. Like who writes this crap? And why?

I also don’t believe that he’s only got a month to live and all that other stuff. They can’t solve 5 or 6 something cases that are all related obviously back to the main one in one month. I have a feeling that something somewhere is going to give and poison valley boy is the answer. His exoneration will happen once they figure everything out, but killing him at the end just for the sake of it just doesn’t make sense for this drama. Even though poisoning him didn’t make sense for it either.

I'm on episode one and i have one quick question. Is there any romance between the leads? Like Deng Yan and Chang…
No romance at all.

Saw some clips from possible upcoming episodes where it is in fact possible somehow to clear his poison. And honestly, I don’t agree that he is in fact, big bad mask man. Because how could he be in two places at once in some ways. Also, there is no motive.

Nit sure I agree. Everything has been progressing pretty logically. Bad games have been scheming since the sorting…
We will see how the war goes, but ultimately, I think it’s going to be ML versus sarcastic evil. How everyone else is dispersed. We don’t know.

In episode 12, they go after the antidote.
Just because it was a very unnecessary trope that threw everything else that was already too much even more off kilter.

like many other synopses here, this one is trash tbh. in no way is this a romance.
I don’t think this was marketed to be a romance to begin with. It was all about cultivation and fantasy and all of that other stuff. Whoever decided to stick the romance tag in there did this drama no service on here. The synopsis is from the official site, which obviously is not right either.
