I’m actually sad this it’s over; it was a good show with a good ending. But I’m glad M9 had a proper ending so now the iron triangle can continue their legacy.
Edit: I gave it a 9.5/10 just because I enjoyed the series so much it had some issues here and there but all in all very well done plus the CGI and the acting. I absolutely have no complaints especially with that nice twist at the end. I don’t know what Easter egg there promising August 22, which is like next Sunday, but we’ll see what happens. I’m not adding any more photos because they’re pretty much the same as I’ve already put up there and I want to see photos from episode 30 if they have them when they have them so then we can finally finish it off on the positive note as opposed to the sand dust one lol.

The country is huge, so I’m sure they all went to live somewhere after the war. Some stayed together, some didn’t eventually old age and new generation.

Who knows. I mean, the storyteller did say that they all went their separate ways. I mean, I think the two of them after the war could’ve also settled down in some small village somewhere if they wanted to. But it seemed that just about everyone helped with the war effort, even LW with training dogs and everything to help out to sacrifice themselves, but took out a whole massive Japanese battalion. As for after the war, who knows I think that many of them settled down and had families. Heck we know one grandson since he pops up at the end of 30 and a few other others from the families if you watched ultimate note so at some point, obviously they all had to die because old age and they weren’t immortal, but who knows who lasted how long and who lived to what age. But I’m sure the majority had offspring. Perhaps I could be wrong of course.
Yes I figured that out too. But my question is how they can get the sands again since it all has been destroyed?
A lot of it was destroyed, but they didn’t show full destruction, especially when unit 401 and FY emerged. They could’ve easily gone back to where they came from and gotten the sand.
29 was the illusion and 30 reality because remember Lao Wu can’t die otherwise there’s no Wu Xie.
They spent a whole chunk of this show talking about the mind altering sand and didn’t you see it floating all over the city in the beginning of episode 30 after you are done with the storyteller?
I figured out how things happened. Very well done. They used the sand from the other world place since it altered peoples memories and what not that’s how M9 lived because memories and reality can be altered, and once they stepped out of the limelight, every one thought they were dead the way it showed in 29 because in the very beginning of 30, you see the same sand and particles floating through the air. So the sand had been used to alter all the memories of everyone while M9 (and followers) survived hidden away. Hence Wu Xie was able to conclude things properly. Pretty brilliant and everyone working together. Also loved how FL got revenge on that asswipe. They had to live quietly away from the spotlight in different places but none of them had a problem with that; some didn’t survive the war while others did. I still think father in law also helped behind the scenes. Handsome Xiao Yu we got to see without the mask but either or and his friend stayed by FY’s side throughout the war. I like the plot twist but it made sense considering it was used in a good chunk of the show and fit perfectly here at the end; since everyone knew how it worked and how to optimize it to their advantage. HE and now moving to the next generation. I have to think about a review if I can do it.
WTH... I just finished the second-to-last episode, and even though I’m 100% sure it has to be an illusion because…
They all faked their deaths save one. FY already had a plan in place so they could disappear from the public eye. He had the help of some ppl including his father in law. They had to make every plan real, that’s why after the fact they basically disbanded and Lao Wu married into a family in another city but continued to train dogs; never showing his face to reporters.
