Yes, many did different things to help the war effort, including self sacrifice, but they took out an entire battalion with them. I’m actually fine that those two didn’t end up together because it seemed to me like a one-sided love anyways. And she needed to stand on her own 2 feet; because before she was like one step forward two steps back and he needed a definitive answer and that wasn’t it so I think for them it ended the way it was supposed to. He married into a family and apparently was happy.

I don’t remember him being helpful or likable if you’re talking about the Chen guy if you’re talking about ZQL that’s a different story.

Oh, I love ZQL he’s my favorite. As for Chen, what’s his face he actually tortured ZQL so that was before this series somewhere.

I don’t think he told them the truth in 29 because again you can’t kill WL otherwise there’s no WX. The story that he told and 30 the ending was the proper ending and he should’ve told all the kids together, but I guess this thing was 30 episodes so they had to make it count. And make it believable before they threw in the plot twist.

As I’m re-watching and rereading the dialogue from episode 30 it seems that they even though different sides of the country were helping each other with the war effort like LW was sending second master dogs to help them sneak across enemy lines, and either sabotage their stuff or gain more ground. So even though they were not in the same place, they were still helping each other in one way or another, even if it wasn’t talked about. It would’ve been great if they had somehow connected LW and FY with the dogs, but it seems that FY got his father-in-law‘s help (who first called him FY which made me at understand that he too was in on the plot twist plan or its outcome and was pleased; and now here) as well and obviously we know how the war ended on all fronts. But it was nice to see and hear that despite being far away from each other, they are still helping each other, even if they don’t speak to one another necessarily. They could be speaking to one another we just don’t know about it. This seems to be the only actual conversation where we know that LW helped EH with things and dogs. Kind of shows that invisible M9 still helps the country and each other. Their tacit understanding is beyond.

Was he? Because I remember an ultimate note ZQL was still a kid when he was around so unless he possesses their blood which she does not, he would’ve died with the rest of this crew when he reached a certain age if he didn’t die in the war. Seemed from the series that though he was injured, he knew how to hide and harm the invaders killing whole battalions with his claw thingy.
