EDIT: Found an article stating that the drama did change from a Saturday-Sunday broadcast to a Sunday-Monday broadcast, and will now be airing at 10:00 pm for "competitiveness".

Je préfère prévenir que ça prendra sûrement un peu de temps par contre (surtout que j'ai tendance à être un peu perfectionniste), vu que j'ai du travail en semaine. Idéalement j'aimerais bien finir au moins l'épisode 1 avant le week-end prochain, mais on verra.

C'est sûr que ça reste un boulot conséquent, après la quantité de dialogue n'est pas non plus trop importante (en tout cas pour les premiers épisodes).

Légalement il y a K-plus et Vidio qui se chargent du drama, sauf que je ne comprends pas vraiment le fonctionnement du site pour K-plus, et pour Vidio beaucoup de leur contenu est géographiquement bloqué.
Du coup pour les deux premiers épisodes, j'ai torrent directement sur un site coréen et j'ai téléchargé les sous-titres anglais à part, puisque ce n'était sur aucune plateforme de streaming au début. Par contre à l'heure actuelle tu peux le trouver en streaming sous-titré anglais sur pas mal de sites : HiTV, kisskh, KissAsian,...

Je croise déjà rarement des français par ici (et j'imagine que la majorité se débrouille avec l'anglais), après je traîne peu en section commentaire. Mais c'est vrai que vu la popularité, même globale, du drama...
M'enfin si je décide de le faire, ce sera aussi parce que l'exercice est intéressant. Après si ça sert à une ou deux personnes sur la durée, c'est encore mieux 🙌

Je n'y pense plus trop depuis que je regarde mes films et séries avec les sous-titres anglais, mais quand j'attendais qu'ils soient postés j'ai pensé à ceux qui comprennent pas forcément la langue et aimeraient regarder. J'ai pas mal attendu ce drama, et je pense vraiment qu'il a une chance d'être parmi les meilleurs de 2023. Donc si ça peut donner l'occasion aux francophones de le regarder et l'apprécier pleinement, pourquoi pas !

Y a des francophones qui veulent regarder ce drama mais qui ont besoin de sous-titres français ? Je songe à les traduire (de l'anglais au français), mais pas sûr que ça soit super utile vu que l'audience semble faible

If you can understand enough without subtitles, you definitely should! HiTV currently has auto translated subtitles too, if that helps. I personally will have to wait for an actual decent translation since I can't understand much without that 🙃

I think so, but their website is a bit weird to be honest. Their schedule actually shows several release times (10:30pm on 14/10 then 11:45am + 6:45pm + 10:30pm on 15/10). I have no idea how it works since I can't register on their website or watch/find any actual video. I tried using a VPN to get access, not much luck though.

K-Plus will translate it for sure. They have released the subtitled trailer on their Facebook page, and the show is their current banner. Just gotta wait a bit.

Gonna have to disagree with most people here because honestly, I loved this drama. It wasn't anything groundbreaking but I don't think it was trying to be. I doubt they were aiming to be drama of the year.
It was really enjoyable and I was eagerly waiting for the new episodes during the three weeks it aired. Idk, just the whole concept of officers navigating the Han River was fresh and new. I liked the characters, the story was fine enough, and I thought it was fun when it was supposed to be. Six episodes was just the right length for it to not drag out too, although I wouldn't have minded if it had been longer.

Not as bad as people are making it out to be.

I highly doubt it will be tragic with the way the show was made. It's probably named Heartbeat because Woo Hyeol will become human through the power of love lol.
Their love will be what allows him to finally become human one way or another. It's either because his heart is beating for In Hae or because his heart will truly starts beating (like a human's) thanks to her.
