This year I had watch two talented actors in the thirties as main male lead that become commander in romance genre so far.
It doesn't matter whether the actors are in their twenties or thirties, all of them can wear those gorgeous costume of republican and historical era of China, but it usually those talented actors in the thirties that have these smoldering body language when they act as a leader or as a smitten man that make they more attractive and sexier to me ^_^

I read their local audiences comments on their media social using google translate and many of them praising the main couple chemistry and mentioned that this drama get their interest solely because the acting of the casts and main couple chemistry. If not, they won't even bother because the plot especially the romance plot were dramatic and induce too much headache LOL
Sadly, many main couple scenes together get edited out because the TV channel that bought the right of this drama cut out from original 50 episodes to just 43 episodes when they air it.
But I found some of those cut scenes of main couple on Bilibili (a video sharing website based in Shanghai, themed around animation, comics, and games, where users can submit, view and add overlaid commentary on videos). If you want to watch it I will give the link to you.
But there are no subtitle though T_T Or maybe you already had watch those of some main couple cut scenes?

And some dramas (mainly dramas that complete filming pre year 2021) got cut out to just 40 - 43 episodes.
This drama was filming in year 2020 so they filming for 50 episodes. But the TV channel that bought the right of this drama cut it out to only 43 episodes while on air. I don't know about the total episodes on the another channel for rerun airing, maybe it still just 43 episodes T_T

But I feel that the way actors/actresses look or even touch the actresses/actors (skinship/interactions) in old dramas/movies kinda give me different feeling than skinship/interactions between actors/actresses in dramas nowadays although the recent dramas/movies have more skinship/kisses.
