Main male lead is an interesting character in drama for sure but in real life shouldn't people like him is the one that is a nightmare?

Marry you while being an undercover and then lead an army to invade your hometown, kill your beloved grandfather and also your clan on the same day.
You get a chance to forget about his betrayal for some time but after you regained your memory back you already married him again and you still fall in love with him just like before while he don't remember about your past love story but still using people for his ambition just like he did to you. What is more "a nightmare" than this LOL

But yes, actor Chen Xing Xu give such great performance as Li Cheng Yin and Gu Xiao Wu in this drama that make this drama really interesting.

Kind of open ending but at least based on newspaper, main male lead is still alive.
In my imagination, all 3 of them, mother, son and father get to meet again and then live together for the rest of their lives.

But why did they need to cut final kiss between main couple while they watching the tree outside together haih. Oh well.

I really want to watch Shawn Dou in another dramas again.
This drama finished filming in year 2020 yet just get on air in year 2022.
If he filming another drama in year 2023 or above then for how long I have to wait for that drama to get license to air LOL

Among dramas from Asian countries, Chinese dramas are top notch to me regarding the costumes, settings and props in their historical and republican era although their stories were mainly tragedies so I prefer him acting in historical or republican era again LOL

It's rare for me to watch Chinese modern romance dramas now although they have more hot kisses/bed scenes/skinship compare the historical/republican era.
I feel more excited with the couple skinship in historical/republican era although they were more chaste than modern romance haha.

Since the stake in romance in historical/republican era were more higher compare to our modern time, it make me feel more emotional too.

But there a clip about Shawn Dou on Bilibili with caption that when I translate using google translate "he will not act as pure lover again".

Since I don't know Chinese language, maybe it means he will choose dramas with little to no romance after this for his next project. Whatever his choice as an actor will be, if he willing to filming again, I'm already grateful huhu
