But from the Mr Queen, Joseon Exorcist and Snowdrop issues, it seems Knetzs will scrutinize towards historical dramas that used Korean real historical figures/names more than modern dramas since all three dramas Mr Queen, Joseon Exorcist and Snowdrop (before drama production decided to change the main character name) got into controversies because they were set in historical time and used Korean real historical figures.

Since this drama is set on the modern time and all of the characters in this drama are totally fictional, I think it still will air.
If the Knetzs still complaints near it airing date, then the only reason is because it is co-produced with Chinese company LOL

Netizens especially Knetzs may feel angry or hate Park Kye Ok, the screenwriter of Mr Queen and Joseon Exorcist but I couldn't deny that the fantasy aspects with historical settings like a modern man's soul trapped in historical woman's body in his Mr Queen and also evil spirits in his Joseon Exorcist are very interesting to me. Maybe because I love to read fantasy novels/manga/manhwa/manhua with plots like time travelling/transmigration/incarnation.

In Mr Queen, other than the comedy aspect, I love how relationship between the king and queen evolved from the "forced marriage" to comrade kind of couple and that the king actually pretended to be dumb puppet king while secretly trying to reform his country as the ruler. And because the main characters were played by the talented Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun that have good performance and created good chemistry together, the drama become more enjoyable.

In my opinion, if he want to write another modern/historical fantasy dramas in the future, he has to does that without using any real historical figures/royals. If he write fiction novels, it will be interesting plots/stories.

You are right, Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun are more well known after Mr Queen and get more fans among local and global audiences are mainly because of their top acting skills and good chemistry with each other in the drama, even when they are not popular like the Hallyu stars.

Some netizens having too much times in their hands during Covid-19 that's why they are bashing and attacking Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun even when both of them are not involved with Joseon Exorcist at all.

I already watched many Chinese and Korean historical dramas before this drama airing because I love historical costumes and believe me there were many things that not accurate in others and Korean historical dramas as well. This is not new. For example:

All these dramas that I had mentioned above had good ratings from the Korean audiences themselves while airing on their public channels. The drama Empress Ki that airing on Korean public channel, even won many awards from the Korean public channel award itself.

What I means is if we want to started nitpicking about historical accuracies in Korean historical dramas then Joseon Exorcist was not the only drama that did it.
