Title Revolutionary Love Spoiler
I'm sorry but first lead annoyed me so so so much. I hate hate hate that he got the girl. He didn't feel he owed…
Same... I think it was really such bad writing! I kept begging and wishing for FL to choose SL and even thanked ML when he gave up (in just one episode) I'm like "YES FINALLY THANK YOU" but plot twist final episode and he's bickering with SL and being a prick about getting SL to give up I'm like UGH STOPPPP.

I'm not even convinced FL really started liking him, it's just bad fkn writing.

Good enough story but I think the wrong stars for the main roles. Choi Shi Won isn't "adorkable" enough for his…
Pretty sure CSW can be adorkable, He was pretty adorkable in She Was Pretty.. I just think the script fell flat and made him sound rather pushy and creepy instead of pure and adorkable.

This was very hard to watch-- and I feel like it wasted the talents of all the great actors and actresses in this drama. It was so hard to bear with 16 episodes of this drama when it could've very well been just a 2-hour movie and have the same exact value.

Choi Si Won is an AMAZING actor, I was excited to see him as Male Lead but this drama made me wish so many times that the Male Lead should be Gong Myung's character-- why? Because he feels like a real logical person. Byeon Hyeok's character was written as a cheesy/ funny/ airheaded/ spoilt/ out-of-touch kinda person... but they try so hard to make him likable because plot twist, he makes sacrifices all his life, and his strong pursuit of love for FL made him a king of corporate justice. Up until the very end, I didn't feel that the romance factor of this drama was well thought out if you try to observe how exactly the FL started magically having feelings for him. In fact, I'm just not convinced she ever had that development.

This drama is written so so poorly, has almost 0 innovative ideas (save for raising various societal concerns), it's not quite logical.

I had strong feelings for a boldly designed male lead character who didn't fall under the trope of 'super hot and serious + mega capable chaebol guy' because it gave me Nam Goong Min (Chief Kim) potential.. but maybe the script fell flat / too sleazy to be adorable in the end, I blame it on the script because I do know for sure CSW can pull off goofy because of She Was Pretty... this felt ambitious and half-assed at the same time.

That's all for my TED Talk.

This is probably the one drama that has a second season that I will happily wait for.
Because there is NOTHING wrong with this drama at all. I love everything about it.

Also, I very much appreciate the mini-cameo in reference to Reply 1988. I had been waiting so long for something to bring that feeling back and it's here and I love it!!

Title He Is Psychometric Spoiler
I will give this drama due credit by the fact that it's commendable that they would rather kill off a character or let a character take rightful blame for their actions instead of somehow making it so that no one is a bad guy and they're all invincible people, it's unique and bravely written in that way but it's also so sloppily executed.

It's also very draggy that they somehow had to put Seung Mo's abuse history, genetic mental situation, distrust in jurisprudence, anxiety, and resorting to crime among other things that he has done which in my opinion I felt was too many theatrics in the last 5 episodes because-- what even is the point of all this?! "Oh that's because after I stabbed three women and committed arson I started feeling guilty and that's the first emotion I ever felt so I felt guilty to you so I will put you through so much theatrics just to reveal that-- 'Hey, remember how your loving parents died in a fire, and you became an orphan? yeah, I kinda did that. But it's okay I took care of you and your psychometric thingamajig anyway!'.."

At some point, you will realize that this story should not have been titled "He is Psychometric" but rather "He is Alexithymia" as this whole story basically revolves and focuses on this mental condition, Lee An was so terribly outshined by this factor, there is no observable benefit to his Psychometry situation being in this story (if not just a distraction for a convenient alexithymia plot twist) in the end he would still be someone who's a "quack" in the police force.

Truth be told if it had only been a story about Ji Soo and Seung Mo it would've been a perfect story still, there was no need for the fictional abilities that won't stand in court. There was a vision in this story but there's an overwhelming and chaotic amount of it.

Whatever the plot may have been (Hyun Jae) and (Woo Seung) ending up together leaves a bad taste. Even if Hyun…
I actually strongly agree with this, I thought I was the only one because everyone only had good things to say.

I think that the entire story would've been fine without the romance part between Hyun Jae, Woo Seung and Ji Hoon altogether if it was going to be like that.

You can't really say that Hyun Jae isn't his father because they are biologically bound by that concept and Hyun Jae has accepted the concept of being Ji Hoon's father numerously (Saying things like "The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree", even replacing the watch that was handed over to him, they even did a close up of Ji Hoon wearing both gifts from Hyun Jae of 1994 and 1993 like he was accepting it)

...but for that father to suddenly be dating his childhood friend after settling into the future. It feels so wrong!!

Honestly I enjoyed watching this drama so so so much. The characters and storyline is charming in every aspect- well, except the main romance between Woo Seung and Hyun Jae.. it was too weird for me. It would've been completely fine without the romance aspect between him, Ji Hoon and Woo seung.

I mean I know they tried to justify the concept by establishing how Hyun Jae from 1993 is different from Hyun Jae of 1994 but it would be weird for Ji Hoon because both Hyun Jaes couldn't help but feel this paternal instinct and care for Ji Hoon all the same. Ji Hoon may be completely over Woo Seung and focus on his career (as they suggested towards the ending) but Woo Seung has been the subject of Ji Hoon's affection all his life and Hyun Jae will always be attached to the identity of the biological father who couldn't be there for him.. is he supposed to be at peace with the concept of his first love / childhood friend being his biological father's girlfriend ?

It's just a funny / weird concept to me.

But I do think there is commendable bravery to the writers of this drama for presenting us a weird family tree format like this, it's also funny how in the end there really is no antagonist or protagonist here because everyone really is good in nature in this drama.

This drama is worth the watch. It really is- I have no regrets..
I witnessed great talent, great writing, great music.

Still I hope every single one of my friends who pushed me to watch this drama would trip all over the place. (Kudos if anyone gets the reference)

Really, Goblin is more than just a gathering of pretty faces for a good production. It's like a really thorough piece of art, where each element is perfectly chosen to fit a part. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever watched, and even if it's sometimes unbearably sad, it's still worth it.. it's the most beautiful thing ever.

Gosh I wish he had more dramas wherein he is the main lead and not the one left in the second lead. :(

I can't help noticing that Hwang Jung Eum as an actress is somehow always given roles where her looks are often questionable and rather dorky but she ends up becoming pretty in the end.. that is always the transition for her, but then again that's why I love her as an actress and the fact that she doesn't seem to give two shits about how questionable she looks.. she's had the same transition in 4 of her dramas (Kill Me, Heal me; Lucky Romance; She Was Pretty and Full House Take 2)
