This is pretty much where I am. I hope the gold storyline will tie in with the ghost stories and the school history in an interesting way.

I think they've got a setup for "temporary alliance with school foundation chairwoman with inevitable betrayal" that could be fun.

I know, right? The OSTs for Let Me Be Your Knight were sooo good, but the drama was a huge disappointment

I almost never like the guys with their hair down in dramas, but I was so here for his casual mode. I thought maybe it was that he was always so formal, it was nice to see him literally let his hair down. But I think it might be that he's just *that* good-looking, that it doesn't matter what he does with his hair. And I'm not even a new fan of his!

Your second point on the dislikes is why I had to drop the drama. Literally no one in the drama took FL's feelings seriously at any point, and in fact, the men in her family often openly and internationally ignored them. She was written as a histrionic girl whose emotions were meaningless and who didn't need any actual support to succeed, unlike the poor boys.

Agreed. If it keeps up at this quality, the question for me will be if it gets 10 stars or gets a half knocked off for making me cry

I don't know the ending yet, but my friends all tell me I am too picky about dramas, and I think this one is great so far! I really like that it has romance, but it also has a lot of close non-romance relationships. It explores a lot of what family means, both in terms of biological vs found family, and it puts a lot of emphasis on the latter, especially for a kdrama

Yeah, the way San Ha's mom has raised So Hee to be just as manipulative as she is... It's horrifying

I think it was originally 12 longer episodes, but it got split into 20 shorter ones because of the mysteries of Disney.

I agree with a lot of this, but I do think people are giving KYD too hard about time. He's perfectly fine in other things; he was great in Sh**ting Stars and Moon in the Day. I really blame a crappy script that never knew what the point of this drama was (even though it fooled us at the beginning) on that front.

Agree. With 12 eps they had time for the foster siblings plot OR the workplace plot. Instead, we spent the first 2/3 of the drama with her motivated only by her job, and now she seems to have completely stopped caring.

I have strong fears of a time jump

Opposite for me (here for Kim Young Dae), but I'm definitely disappointed at the degree to which this drama has lost its focus. The first half was great, but now I don't even know what the plot is supposed to be.

Bok Gyu is kind of killing this drama for me. I still like the drama well enough, but it was 10 stars for me before I realized that he was going to show zero character growth while honestly being all over the place as a character.

Yeah, I'm really confused how I'm supposed to feel about him. Sometimes he's a lovable doof type, but he keeps doing really crappy things to everyone around him.

I mean, I think regardless of your feelings on polyamory, the reality is that she just does not seem that into him.
