Even the oldies didn't make you cry? Woah, you're the first person I met who didn't cry because of melodramas. Such a rare species :D

I tried to watch rom-com (I really did) but I end up dropping every one of them after two or three episodes. I dropped about 13 rom-com so I decided not to try any of them again.

They're are some good revenge melodramatic dramas, like Yellow Boots, Temptation of wife and Five Fingers. You should give them a try since you heart that genre a lot.

Are you interested in long dramas? That's really rare around here. I would say Yellow Boots and Giant; they're the best long Korean dramas out there.

I can see why everyone would avoid makjangs because they're long most of the time. However, slice of life seems to be a popular genre here. What's your favorite dramas of that genre?

Then have you seen Mother? Woman ressembles Mother in some areas.

I would recommend Stairway to Heaven and Padam Padam; they're both great melodramas.

Thznks for the add and the warm welcome :)

I am glad you like my taste and that you share some of it. How could you keep on watching dramas through 17 years? I know you have Japanese roots and all but I don't think that can be a reason to watch dramas non-stop during 17 years. or is it?

Excuse my curiosity. It's really great to meet you^^

Can I say all of them? Well, it's still too soon to judge Secrets so my favorites would be Garasu no Ie and Woman for now.

When I saw that you dislike melodramas, I thought that I won't find a single melo in your list but you saw a respectable amount of them especially the oldies. Did you come to dislike them lately?

Thanks for the add and nice to meet you too :)

Winter Sonata is a nice melo but there are better ones. Woman is pretty good; I would classify it as a slice of life instead of melo, I don't know if you're a fan of that genre.

Thank you for the add :) And yes, I find MDL an interesting site indeed.

Garasu no Ie has an interesting theme and I am enjoying it. You read the synopsis, right? So you have to know that there are many wrong things ethically.

Thanks for the add and the warm welcome :)

I am surprised that there aren't many melodramas fans in MDL or so I think. Apparently romantic comedies are the trend here but well, to each his taste.

And I agree Padam Padam is one of the best made melodramas out there. I am used to such endings because melos and makjangs rarely have a happy ever after ending.

I am a rare species? No one else here likes melodramas?

Actually, I saw Byakuyako and Into The White Night only that I forgot to add them. But I will take your other recommendations in concederation. Thank you :)

Thank you for the add and the welcome :)

Well, I know that we need the change of air sometimes that's why I change from heavy melodramas to more light melodramas every once in a while.

Although we have a very different taste, I found your profile quite amazing :) Also, many of your first dramas are one of my favorite dramas such as Sad Love Song, Autumn in my Heart and Sorry I love You.
