So to answer your question, "Is this drama as good as Hospital Playlist?" If I compare the first 4 eps of both series, The answer is gonna be NO! But That's just me. Others might disagree....

First, If you are looking for the same vibe as HP, Stop looking. Its not even Close . They are not even at the same branch. There were 5 Main characters in HP but in RPB even though it says 5 main role, Its feels more like O I yong and friends here.
The Main characters in HP were all full fledged Docs, asst and associate proff of their respective fields. Here the Main characters are all Young Ducklings Residents. So the Vibes are obv not gonna be the same and RPB is going to be more hectic. So That should be Kept in Mind.
About O I yeong, I hated her character at first but now she's growing on me.
Kim sa bi, I loved her character at first but at ep4, she pissed me. I was hoping we wouldn't have any sabotaging and that type of character here. But here we are. She Obv felt guilty and regretted but what's done is done.
and what kinda sur name is Um? I honestly thought they were saying yes or hmmm... anyway Jaeil looks like Ikjun type who wanna bring gang together, eat out and have fun.. I like him so far.
About Nam gyeong, she is doing well so far..
About Do won, I thought he wd be some evil character but nah he is great. But I personally feel the Romance is being forced here.
and Dr Myeong, She is still kinda same annoying as she was in HP. Good to see junwan and Chu mina. When I saw the proffs at this branch, My first thought was, Junwan would fit so well here how he is always yelling at residents. ๐. I am hoping Dr Yang Seok Hyeong to have a LONGER CAMEO please....considering It is his field and I hope He gets to meet all the residents and not just FL.

Might have said it before, Liu Xie Ning's Portrayal of Shou Hua was absolutely Breathtaking.... Its my second time watching C-drama where I have been Absolutely Mesmerized by a Female Character and Shou Hua was HER!!! She had everything, Wisdom, Intelligence, Patience, Grace, Elegance. Compared to Others sisters and their mom who always went HANDS FIRST and Very Loud, She always Held herself quite well. . On first hand, she might seem like she was traditional wife who tolerates everything her husband did, but apparently she was not like that. She knew went to take actions and when to be patient.

Thank GOD Kim Dae Myung is gonna have guest Appearance. I thought it was kinda odd a that only YYS and JKH making guest appearance at first when resident playbook is mainly focused on OBGYN.
I don't think it's ever gonna happen but there was a discussion in some forum about LA of "The Greatest Estate Developer" and the first Image that Popped on my Mind for Lloyd was 'Kang H Neul'. People brought Kim Nam Gil as well. So I would be Happy with Either one of those two as Lloyd. Personally, I think They're the only ones that can Pull the "Lloyd"
