Tbh MZY and specifically whoever is playing the Male lead would benefit greatly from not taking this script unless they make heavy changes in the script. It’s a very famous novel and fairly interesting but the ML is kinda crazy and there’s a certain line said by him in the novel that completely blew me away, like ew that was not needed.
I want Xueer and Deng Kai to collaborate on a Historical drama because they look best in those attires, i don’t think Deng Kai looks as good in modern fashion 😔 while he looks drop dead gorgeous in historical attire.
MZY desperately needs to do a modern drama and since her CP with Ding Yuxi is also famous i think they’re definitely collaborating again.

Most of the melons regarding them came out while POJ was airing and then they’re back to the original actors linked to the drama, it’s obvious it was just a marketing ploy .
And you shouldn’t go around telling people that the cast is confirmed when in fact it is not and those are just melons you have been seeing.
