There’s no annoying c-drama misunderstanding or nonsense amnesia shenanigans that makes viewers annoyed.
It’s a us (ml and fl) vs the entire world trope and it’s very fun.
They have my girl Meng Ziyi out at night filming in freezing cold and in a desert storm just the next day and now in a village stream washing idk what in ice cold water 😂

The cast seems to have had so much fun while filming and there’s so many actors I’m familiar with , makes me giddy with excitement lol
Every single actor casted fit their characters so much , really couldn’t have been better than this.
The novel is great, literally so fun than even after 800 chapters i felt like it wasn’t enough, even the most minor characters were written so thoughtfully.
From whatever reuters and bts clips i have seen , it looks so fun + the styling is perfect .
Chemistry is 💯, so please please i hope they acted their asses off, the dubing is good and the director + script writers did their career best lol.
And apparently the OG Novel author also helped with finalising the script, so this definitely gives me hope, because this lady knows how to make you swoooon for her characters, the dialogues and quotes that she has written in this novel are all so beautiful, please let this be a great drama
I hope everyone complaining about the actors ages and looks don’t forget that Meng Ziyi’s Blossom character Dou Zhao was also supposed to time travel back to when she was 16 , but in the drama they changed it to age 7 and casted a young female actor to play DZ for 2 episodes and look how good it turned out.
They don’t have to follow the novel to a tee to make a successful drama.
A good script and direction is all you need.
Look at Blossom , it’s one of the most successful dramas of this decade and unforgettable characters like Song Mo and Dou Zhao were born.
Even with Blossom people complained about FL looking old to play a 16 year old, that the costumes looked low budget, look at Blossoms first poster, it was called cheap too but in the end it was the most successful idol drama of 2024.
People are gonna watch the drama as long as it’s good.
Also for the billing, even Love Like The Galaxy and New Life Beings were female centric shows with male lead as 1st billing .
It’s all going to work out, no need to get your BP high for nothing.
