Yes exactly! A lot of rpl shippers i encountered were very toxic and they would hate on an actor they're paired with because it isn't the actor they ship. If they actually dates someone else then finished. Have gotten really tired of the toxity

Machida got married in 2022. And honestly I'm not sad that he's married. I was just surprised, but I don't do real people shipping anymore (used to but I had beef with rpl shippers and it was way before i watched BLs). If Akaso and Machida still support each other then I'm all good :) and I'm glad the makers respected them if they didn't want to do intimate scenes. Btw a friend of mine told me that Yutaro, the guy that plays Minato, had prior experience with BLs so I guess he was comfortable with intimate scenes?

Overall i agree with everything. I also think that there isn't much chemistry between tsuge and minato but I liked them ngl especially with tsuge going crazy lol
and yeah with the review being short because you wrote it just after you finished the drama, i understand that as I find it really difficult to write a review after i just finished a drama as i can't process things. I need to rewatch Cherry Magic! I think i have forgotten some stuff there.
(Btw Kurosawa's inner thoughts are a lot more family friendly as compared to the manga hehe, and i can only say about the mole scene)
