The NC scene is crazyyyy! And im still yet to watch the entire forst episode. I want to see Bible and Jes, especially…
Btw Bas and Fuaiz have a 9 year age gap (Fuaiz is two years younger than me lol). I wish the guy was older. Idk whether Fuaiz was at a legal age when the NC scene was shot tho.

However, when I think about Jasper and Qin Lan's story now as i watch it, it actually had an interesting start and it isn't that bad. It's just gonna go a bit downhill and things are confusing (that's how i remember how i felt about their story; that a lot of the parts were confusing) but it's enjoyable.
Watched this for Qin Lan but OMG this show is amazingly hillarious! 🤣
I knew Qin Lan, Jasper Liu, and Yang Chaoyue, and that people raved over Neo and Chaoyue (as in majority of the viewers) while also saw glimpses of Jasper and Qin Lan. I enjoyed Neo and Chaoyue couple the most, followed by Li Yitong and Wang Yanlin, the latter because they wrote a good story, the best out of the three, even though their chemistry is okay, but I watched it after Yanlin got married to someone else and it isn't Yitong. Jasper and Qin Lan have great chemistry but their offscreen interactions felt too forced. i mean yeah other couples were scripted for sure but at least they were more believable and less forced. This one felt exaggerated and it put me off.
I was pissed about Jasper and Qin Lan feeling forced when i first watched it, but now when I see it all of them are scripted, and i'm really pissed because the show is scripted, since the concept is soooo unique! But the only way to enjoy it is to see things at face value and even considering their offscreen interactions as a drama of their own lol. Sorry if i came across as rude but these are my thoughts.
Most of the even off-screen interactions of the couples are scripted, though you might enjoy it if you're into romcoms and fluff. Just don't expect everything to be genuine. I enjoyed two cps but the third one felt way too forced.
I'm ending this and I enjoyed Grandmaster Zhang Zhiwei's badassery the most! I also love the liberal usage of humour combined with a lot of seriousness. And Shen Chong (the qi broker) got what he deserved! His character creeped me out the most!
Also, Yang Ling/Xu Qi'an's mandarin was supposed to be "not good"! It was pointed out on the start of the first ep.
Enjoy the ride and don't get too swayed by negative reviews.
And im still yet to watch the entire forst episode. I want to see Bible and Jes, especially Bible's performance because i love this guy.
