I actually have to thank her for starting this drama ironically, because it actually motivated me to watch TTEOTM. I just finished the first ep. CGI was nice, acting was great (esp LYX).
I won't feel like slapping her but I wish she took accountability for rumour mongering, not just for this but her previous actions too (YT and Discord). Unfortunately, she's not known to take responsibility not just for this, but also for her classist remarks (she's obsessed with accents for some reason). I stopped watching her a long time back.

Any professional reviewer refrains from mocking an actor explicitly. If she had the guts to mock someone's regional accent or spread false rumours, she shouldn't be a drama reviewer! Period!

Because some of them aren't interested or see AvenueX as the queen of C-culture or C-Dramas when irl she seems sus and smug. I guess people overly relying on her has gotten into her head or consuming a lot of melons did.
AvenueX is just some reviewer. Just watch a drama on your own terms and if you don't like it then just drop and forget about it! (i still have a grudge against her for mocking Wang Hedi's Sichuan accent and Chinese Mandarin, and what trash she said about ZZH, hence i stopped watching her!)

I 100% agree. some people conveniently twist their interactions when it was only 2 out of 25 eps. That barely scratches the surface. Ig it's just for clout.

Idk whether she actually worked in C-ent, because I heard that a lot of her reviews are mostly regenerating what people say on Weibo and Bilibili. Unfortunately people don't make an effort to fact check.

I stopped watching her content a long time back and I'm glad I did. It's just that now she's gotten very popular on YT in the CDrama group amd there are still people.who rely on her even whem her problematic and biased side was exposed on Discord and Twitter and people still defend her no matter what and that bothers me.

I swear to God this is another reason why she isn't reliable as people like to portray her as! After watching 16 eps or the entire series you'll realize that she's conveniently twisting almost everything! I nearly laughed at what she said about the car scene. Misinterpretation is okay as long as you take accountability but she literally called it pedophilia like wtf! It's a pattern unfortunately, and she's not open to being corrected or taking accountability.

Yep she has a pattern of only seeing technical stuffs but not understanding the deeper meanings.

The same people rave about Count Your Lucky Stars lol. It's a 5 year age gap that isn't a problem at all!

This reminds me of AvenueX saying that she's so weirded out of the drama after just 2 eps lol.

I just started reading it and now I'm on chapter 4. This person writes very well and it's very engaging so far.

Oh yeah that line! This pretty much proves that Korn is quite sus, though I liked his character more than Gun. Gun was a bit caricaturish imo. It would be very interesting seeing Korn's crimes unfold in a hypothetical second season.
