Literally this is Wang Hedi's best performance and this so-called cdrama expert youtuber says that she "gave up" on him being a "proper actor" after GOTD like nothing can be more funny than that 😂😂 mind you she only watched the first five episodes and when it came to ranting about it, she took the pettiest of criticisms (seriously like the comedy scenes of the family in prison be like "go out then wait for a couple of beats and then get back but this drama doesn't do that" wtf!) and that they didn't follow the trope of the ML trying to get back to his world like..... She didn't even criticise his acting there! But for one of her videos she said she "gave up" on him?! Cmon you could've taken OFL at least. Understandable. But why Dafeng?! Man!

I heard that it wasn't actually miscommunication between TTJ and LSS. It's more like they're deceiving each other. The Ming Ye Sang Jiu one is really miscommunication though. I hated how Ming Ye would do things for Sang Jiu's benefit without even consulting her!
My second japanese BL drama. I watched the anime ver first and foremost my thesis i watched this drama. Man I can't help but fangirl over Kurodachi, and Tsuge being hilariously awkward! I can't get over the live-action characters being more animated than the anime in itself 🤣 and also i relate to Adachi sm, especially when he flinches all the time. I AM LIKE THAT OMG! and also KUROSAWA IS A WALKING GREEN CARPET! I'll happily put my standards in men sky-high because of him because ngl our standards of men are as low as the ground. And bruh anime Tsuge and live-action Tsuge seem to be two different characters omg! The anime one is saner 🤣 and OMG apart from them Rokkaku and Fujisaki are my favourite characters lol. Ikr it's so annoying! They're so much more forgiving to toxic ML or 2ML but if the female lead is like that then she's unbearable. Not totally pointless and certainly not bratty and selfish. She acts like a neglected child who is compared to her sister and seen as inferior to her. She matures much later and ngl she and the ML have the same kind of energy
The hate Princess Lin'an gets is really funny imo. I'm on ep 33 and she isn't so insufferable as the commentators are saying. I love how she cares for Xu Qi'an. Sure the lying about the identity was annoying but it wasn't enought for me to hate her at all! Xu Qi'an was also cunning and lied as well but he's loved. Ngl I love Xu Qi'an and Wang Hedi and I love how he portrayed Xu Qi'an but it's really unfair to Princess Lin'an imo.
