I completely agree with your analysis. Sorn loves Jun so much but is very scared that his past will repeat itself or he will lose his longstanding friendships with Thai and Champ. I hope they do the novel justice with the next part of the story. Showing that Sorn recognizes how his actions have devastated Jun and him trying desperately to find him and make it up to him.

I think Sorn and Penny were FWB but stopped when he got started with Jun, not sure if it had to do with Mali (who is a bitch)

I really recommend the novel as it really provides a lot of insight into the character’s thoughts and feelings. It’s a quick and entertaining read!
