My thoughts exactly. I kept thinking this isn't like Fah at all. Admittedly we didn't see that much of him in…
For me it's not the drinking at all, I don't care about him getting drunk now and then. It's that I felt he was portrayed as a diligent and conscientious person and he's being neither, just an entitled brat. And I don't really care about him starting the series that way and doing a redemption thing, it is just not how I would have expected that character to respond.

Fah tricked school kids into doing his own work instead of going to school. He's supposed to be there as a service to the village, not to be catered to.

Seriously he got sent to do community SERVICE because he did something horrible and he arrives all entitled and surprised there would be work involved. Which, I mean if he's supposed to be an entitled character and have a redemption arc involved (which I suspect is the case) is a fine trope, but it didn't seem to fit at all with who he was in the previous series.
It's like his friend said - he thought Fah was getting over the breakup, and then he went to his ex's wedding.…
Driving drunk and crashing his car with his friends in it was a major jerk move, and all he's done is complain about conditions, get other people to do work for him, and drink since he got there.
I guess I don't understand how they are trying to develop the character of fah, so far he sounds like a jerk (which was not the character he played in SIMM)
I know right. The actors are scared to do anything and I love it
Thinking about Thai BL couples that had that kind of uninhibited chemistry so their affection didn't look staged. There haven't been that many. MaxTul and OhmNanon come to mind.
Something all BL makers should learn from this series is the value of leads who are really willing to throw themselves into their roles and have fun with it at the same time.
Can we talk about the ending? 20 minutes on Amy who I hated? Did Poon seem like the kind of person who wanted a rich guy to buy him a restaurant? Why didn't Ping get to be head chef? I felt like the ending was just rich people winning?
And they tried to make Mayom and Teng happy in the very last episode, WTF?
