I felt like even the actors felt like that was cringe.

I very much want to like this series but I really don't think either couple has chemistry and the characters just aren't developed very well.

And for no reason! Such a weird effort to put some sadness in where it wasn't needed.

Also who thinks someone just up and leaving is romantic?

I feel like they got some success with early BL series because there wasn't much out there, but they are increasing budgets and things aren't really getting better.

Yeah I lost interest in CP because once their relationship got started it wasn't really interesting because neither character had any depth.

This is true of a lot of romance writing in general, not just BL romance. Writing characters that have natural feeling conflicts requires real character development, it's much easier to just have them talk past each other for 6 straight episodes.

Also I'm not a fan of typhoon at all. Pushy and annoying, doesn't take no for an answer.

At least BLIH had like the metal allergy and the characters had personalities. Have we got any idea of these two as individuals? I feel like I understand the side couple more, although I don't find them very interesting either.

Holland is adorable but nobody looks good in that hair color.

This series has grown on me, though. The characters are developing.

I am finding this series sort of boring, the leads are cute but the side couple is too cheesy by half. Hank and Aaron might throw in some interesting side plots though.
