i wouldn’t say the big reveals are obvious at all tbh i mean there’s literally almost 200k comments here with…
I randomly do when a show currently airing has a good premise, but I dropped because I got bored. I read comments to see if it is worth picking up. Most recently seen those comments in LBtG, but I couldnt figure out why the weird hate 😆 I am still trying to feel out whether to pick it up again or not, so I might see them again. Either way I got my red pen ready so at least they can hate on VoS with the most exact facts 🫣🙃 I like being helpful 😇

I just keep randomly seeing comments about the comment count here in other show threads. Im not even sure why it is a point of criticism since the ranking and ratings do not seem to be affected 😅
But now I know the exact comment count, the next time I see a comment like that I will reply with the exact number, just like those annoying people when in the middle of an argument correct your grammar. The best mood killer 😂😂😂
Can you find me a man like that too? And can he look exactly like TJR? 🫣
After many ex-boyfriends and ex-husbands, I believe you might be right... can only invest in cloning and ask TJR to volunteer once the technology is there. I might not get the exact personality I want, but I will get the visuals I need 😆
Edit to take off too pointed information lol People I know on here might otherwise find me 😅😅😅😅

Ohhh then I would like to think I am nascent soul. That always sound like high enough to kick but yet weak enough to not be required for any world saving adventures

I am always confused about the comment count. Around when this drama premiered and I started watching, i remember people commenting that there were like 90k-100k comments before premier, but now they say 120k. But does the amount of comments matter? Does it affect rank or something like that?
To be honest, dramas with tons of comments usually mean a bigger fanbase or a long build up from what I have seen, not necessarily a better drama. And there are top rated dramas that only have a few thousand comments, but which are still rated and ranked well.
No hate meant obviously, i am just truly confused as to why the comment amount is brought up in so many comment threads like it means something... and i dont know what it means! Lol 😅
Has GJM ever had a series that had a happy ending? The odds are an open ending or bad ending for veil of shadows…
In the ones I have watched, he leans towards open ending with both tragic and hopeful elements. I have only watched three of his works though, excluding VoS.
GJM has obviously been traumatized and wishes to likewose traumatize us all. I am just hoping he never gets to the level of trauma that Twelve Letters gave me lol
What are some examples? of The plot tries so hard to be deep and mysterious, but most of the time it just ends…
Fair point. And I am definitely one of those that read reviews and comments before starting a series since ratings are not very reliable.
Honestly, I just found it mostly funny because they are trying to sound so clever and almost philosophical while reflecting their own little understanding. A little introspection for them would do though. Some people do not realize that as they are criticizing something, they are actually only demonstrating how short-sighted and unlearned they sound.
The reality is that dramas, books, and a lot of entertainment mediums have a targeted audience and focus. For them it seems reading more philosophy books or watching podcasts about it might be a better fit since they are looking for deep meaning. Nitzsche advocated for deep, slow, and repeative reading of philosophy to get true understanding, and yet here they are asking that of a 29 episode general audience cdrama...

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Its just their take and, to be honest, the fact they did not come up with good examples show that even they do not fully understand what they want or like. It is like those people that glance at a best selling novel and then say it was trash and the author should have done better. Or college students that attend one philosophy class and think themselves genius philosophers. Just not worth worrying about or discussing with them.
Also, if you read their comment, it is a lot of talk with little fact or substance. Some people just want to sound smart, which is ironic because they are blasting the series for trying to be smarter than it is while displaying that very characteristic themselves lmao
Edit to add: The drama's success speaks for itself.
Hahaha I just need the main leads to be pretty and have a high face card. Otherwise, I cant buy into the fantasy of the drama. These is enough real drama around me. I watch cdrama for the fun of seeing gorgeous people fall in love with each other in different fantastical settings. Otherwise, where is the billionaire CEO who falls for a broke girl with average looks and is willing to kill and swipe the black card to buy out a store for her, and can I volunteer to be the tribute?!?!
We should really start itemizing reimbursements for tissues, remotes, phone screens, dental work, etc so we can bill GJM. Some things go beyond viewer abuse and must be appropriately budgeted 🙃😂
They do say that couples become more and more alike with time. They are both vessels for deities. Once she became a pair with JL, it was only a matter of time
