This is So Ji Sub’s worst drama. I am a big fan of his, I wished he never did this drama. I only stayed for Shin Sung Rok. There was zero chemistry between SJS and FL.

So no matter how many dramas Ive seen, I have never loved any female character more than Wong Yung (Barbara Yung). Smart, sassy and loyal she’s my favorite. Btw, I don’t know about you, but I love Jin Yong so much, that I’m even willing to gamble and watch his remakes even though most of them are horrible. 🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣. I keep hoping that I will run into a really good one and it would be worth it. Every now and then there’s a decent remake. But its mostly crapola 😂😂😂.

Yes, just like Yang Kang and Yang Guo. Grrrrr, the father was like so evil yet the son was a good person. Jin Yong will always be my all time favorite wuxia writer.

Actually now that you said that she isn't really likable the TVB drama that I’m watching. I actually don't like her at all. So far I only like this version of Yuan Ziyi. And you are correct, Cheng Lingsu is very likable, although shes not beautiful in the 1999 version as she is here. I still love her personality. Btw, does Yuan Ziyi become a nun in this version?

That was the whole reason why I wanted to find the book, because I was trying to figure out if he’s gonna be with MRF’s daughter. Since she’s only an infant in this movie I got confused. I was hoping he was gonna end up with Yuan Zi Yi in this drama. I like her character.

OK so this is the story before the TVB drama I’m watching happens. I’m watching the 1999 version of the flying fox over snowy mountain. I thought in the story he marries someone else. And then in the other story he marries MRF daughter.

Hehehe, we need more hot kisses in these dramas. Real ones not those fake shocked looked ones. Theres nothing in the world that makes me more mad than when they freeze in place, and press lips against each other. Like the just hit a wall with their faces. 🙈🙈🙈

I really loved Song Yi and Liu Yi Jun in this drama. They were both really good in this drama.The female lead was completely useless.This is the only negative thing about this drama. Sighs 😞.

If I were you I would watch the directors cut. That would probably be the better version. I watched the original version and it was a little choppy towards the end. Now I know why it’s because of the dispute between a Director and Coupang.

This is Suzy’s best acting so far in her career. I think this could have been better had they not cut the drama shorter. Originally it was supposed to have more episodes, but for some reason Coupang screwed over the director and edited their own version. It’s a shame because I enjoy this drama and it could have been better.
