A while back on s2 page she wasn’t on the list. I think because of the backlash they might have added her back. And probably give her a little screen time in season two so the fans won’t get angry.
Really, how disappointing I did not know that. I haven't seen all the Hong Sisters dramas. And I’ve never heard of anything such as killing a favorite character to create buzz, that’s so stupid.
I think they’re stupid, they basically are slamming the door back in their own faces. Because the drama was doing good and people really loved her acting. But I guess they were petty so they wanted to let people know that she wasn’t going to come back. To screw her over. Like why can’t they just let her be great. If she doing well, they also look good too, because they’re producing this drama. But they wanted to be jerks instead.
Honestly, I think they were just gonna kill her off but a lot of fans are angry. I think that’s why we have this crazy open ending. Because maybe they’re gonna try to keep her around for a little bit on season two to appease fans.

Yes, I know s2 is in Dec. I’m complaining about the crappy ending of s1. And also how they screwed over Jung So Min with their announcement of her not coming back.
She’s doing such a great job and for them to do that such a disservice to her. I feel especially bad for all of us fans, that loved her. I can just imagine her feeling sad as well.
Exactly, like we have to wait 3 mths for s2. I was already upset that they weren’t bringing back the main lead actress. And then they go and leave a open anything like that. I’ve never watched a drama before where in the middle of the drama, they announce that the FL isn't coming back. I could understand if everybody was hating on her or if she was a bad actress. But actually a lot of people really loved her acting, so their announcement was out of place. It actually made a lot of fans disappointed and some even drop the drama. I don’t know what kind of PR they were trying to run, but it was terrible. What they should’ve done is just wait until it ended, and if she didn’t come back then oh well. That way at least the fans could experience the female leads acting, without knowing that she’s not gonna be coming back. And then having to be sad. There have been many dramas were the second season the female lead changes. But they don’t just come out and announce it midway through the first season, to screw over the main lead actress. As much as I like this drama something is really off with their PR crew.

The last six episodes had me crying continuously. The empress broke my heart, I really loved her character. The emperor had me dying at the end.🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭

I know exactly the set of dubbers your talking about. I still remember their voices. Currently, they have a new set of professional dubbers. They dub almost all recent drama, tv shows, and movies. For instance, the girl that dubbed yanxi palace, was the dubber for squid games for Netflix Vietnam. The site Lesleynn is talking about does thuyet minh. They dub over the original audio, so it like hearing two voices at once.At first its weird but then after a while you will get used to it.
