I started One Piece 10+ years ago, it really came at the right time because I was very depressed back then. I don't know what I would have done without OP. And now I feel kind of the same with Xiao Zhan, I learned about him during the pandemic when I was cloistered at home, he was like a ray of light ! And knowing that Xiao Zhan also liked One Piece.... It really is a perfect man ToT It's like my two favourite things in the world had mixed up. He still made a One Piece reference for the new year, I almost cried haha XD

But it really doesn't matter, Gao Liang is a bad written character and that's the end of it... My love for Xiao Zhan doesn't have anything to do in it bruh ToT
He can keep Nanzheng for all I know, I dislike both of them anyway, but it's true that he really is being very annoying with her. He definitely will end up with her because her father will ask her to lmao.

I just watched it and omg I completely fell in love with A Xiu ! She really is a good character, I couldn't have hoped for better (except from Hu Yang)ToT And the actress is also very cute. Still better than Nanzheng at least XD

I am indeed a fan of Xiao Zhan but for this drama I decided to look at it from the point of view of how ARMY works. Tell me, do you think it's normal to have a kind of soldier that doesn't do anything but meddles in other people's business to get what he wants ? Gao Liang has meddled in the leader's private life and has now become his lovely little soldier... Thanks to that he was able to return to the soldiers rank he wanted. Is this how the army is supposed to work ? Because I don't want to have this type of soldier to protect my country. At the same time, the highranks soldiers have definitely shown a profound favoritism towards Gao Liang because of how pitiful he looks and sounds. It feels like everything he does is calculated, it doesn't feel genuine at all.
So, me liking Xiao Zhan has really nothing to do with how dislikable and poorly written Gao Liang is. Don't mix everything up.

I feel very sad for the officer but ngl at the same time I'm very excited to see what type of character A Xiu is and how will her chemistry be with Gu Yiye... I'm scared they are going to give her a poor personality (you know the jealous, immature and capricious type of girl).
I hope she's going to be a good woman so I won't have any remorse on picking her side instead of Nanzheng's XD (I'll still be rooting for Hu Yang until the end though)

I'm still waiting for the episode to appear on the website I'm using ToT But I'm NOT surprised !!! You know something that also pisses me off, is that when Gu Yiye had that mindset problem during the training they all acted as if their whole defeat was only due to Gu Yiye. Like, are the other soldiers THAT incompetent that they can't do anything without Gu Yiye ??? This only proves once again that he is the best, though they still treat him like trash and put Gao Liang above everyone else.
