I hope people remember that nobody in the game know that they will get killed before joining
Realistically, would you enter a game you know nothing about............... after being personally invited by Gong Yoo?

Yeah, I said the same thing! There's also the blade hidden on grandma's hairpin.

Its not bad. But its far from great. People who are invested in the main story were expecting a proper sequel…
"It doesn't explain why Front man wanted to join the game with Gi Hun."

When he punished Gi Hun by killing his friend and asked "Did you enjoy playing the hero?" Makes me wonder it was all a game on top of the games. A game just for Gi Hun.

i don't get the motivations of the boat captain at all, like did he not actually save junho or what? why aid him…
I think the captain is not in with the higher up people who organize the game, he is in with the people who sell the organs. So he has some motivations to hide the island location but not enough motivation to straight up kill the guy without needing to (as it would be the case if he served the game organizers).

I'm not sure why people thought the front man would all of a certain have a change of heart. Of course he's playing…
Yeah, apparently people are a lot more capable / prone of suspension of disbelief than me.

Did the writer already watch Bogota: City of the Lost?? It hasn't even come out yet so I don't know why it's on…
I'm sorry, I don't know about all that issue and I don't mean to get involved in it, I was just talking specifically about publishing paid promotional articles, which is a common practice.

It wasn't really clear from my post alone, but many people are thinking he was indeed a marine and had a PTSD incident when he came back to collect the ammunition.

I don't think that was the case. He was not a marine and didn't have shell shock, he just panicked like a normal person.

I'm pretty curious about Kang Daeho's backstory. There was a scene when Gihun's friend was questioning him about…
Yes, I also think it was cowardice, not PTSD, as you saw on my other post.

Also, wasn't it curious that his tattoo and Gihun's friend's tattoo weren't on the same arm and the show runners made sure to create a situation to emphasize this?

About Kang Dae-Ho, player 388, aka the marine guy.
I watched the last episode again and saw some curious things: While all the other men and the trans woman were fighting the soldier enemies, he was acting scared and helpless on the floor. He did not fight. His behavior was that of fear, but not panic!

When they distributed the guns, the camera angles made sure to show him uncomfortable with them, but in a way that suggested lack of familiarity, not pure nervousness. He was clearly holding it clumsily and different from all the other people and certainly not like someone who should have ample experience and trigger discipline, which should be an automatic and involuntary behavior for a marine.

A few shots clearly showed he didn't know how to hold, reload and operate the gun: When they were talking about using the radio and when the trans woman was explaining how to use and reload the guns! They made sure to show him acting confused and trying to imitate the people around him (but discreetly, it will probably be in some flashback later).

I think now it is clear to me that he was no marine at all! Maybe he even avoided the mandatory military service!

I understood that he panicked and he was not a real marine.
I'm not fully convinced about this shell shock hypothesis. There were some moments when he acted awkwardly towards his alleged marine past, so I think the hypothesis of him not being a real marine still can be true.

Title Squid Game Season 2 Spoiler
Final plot twist based on elements hinted in this season: This whole game was only made for Seong Gi Hun, not for VIPs. The blood of everyone that died would be on his hands. The guilt would be unbearable, he would either die or commit suicide. The show ends tragically, evil prevails.

I think season 1 was sincerely just a fun, not so-serious project that unexpectedly went viral, then, as a consequence,…
Sorry, when I said it was a fun, not so-serious project I was not referring to the tone of the show! It was a dark and violent show, no denying that.

NO! Sorry! I just concluded that! The way he was acting during the shootout is what made me think that. It was not stated in the show.
