It's true that Santa is supposed to be stronger than Bitna. However people tend to forget that he has been injured and living an old man body for years. He just got the "rock" whatever its name but Bitna took it away from him. So yes he is definitely not in this best condition while fighting with her.

We can't agree to disagree. Her acting was perfect for the role. In fact the writer gave her nothing to work with and she even apologized PSH for that. Her characters was only crying and not doing anything. Pinocchio is a year after Heirs and FBND. You can try to watch those to see the differences when PSH is given better roles. Honestly those are still 2 of my fav works of her. But of course we can't deny her acting is improving everyday as well. And she shines more when she meet a good character.

I mean we have 14 eps of the drama and the drama never really focused on the romance. However, I think it's built up nicely for Bitna from being curious to sympathize and become protective of him. I mean she loves him without realizing that aka the sudden tears at the ep 8. And for Daon, the guy has lost everyone he cares and loves but suddenly Bitna appeared to believe, sympathize, care and protect of him while challenging his belief and moral. They have nice conflict along with the romance building up. But the moment Daon used his body to shield for her, knowing she is a demon, it's pretty much a done deal to me. They didn't need to start courting, or confessing because if what is bigger than the "I love you" when we have "I can die for you" moment? You can't expect a usual love story out of an drama that doesn't even focus on the drama. I mean I don't. And I clearly understand their emotional transition. It started with curiosity and sympathy. And that's how Bitna's character develop. She learns to care and compassion with others as well

It's ok you can't expect to please everyone. That's personal taste. Like I can totally see people who like seriously, life or not into violence not liking this drama. No need to say sorry :)

Honestly hating an actress for a character she played is pathetic. It's not even her fault that the writer wrote her character that way. But unfortunately PSH got hate for her character and how people also thought it's her acting issue . I'm glad you and others have become more open-minded to see what she truly is. You can check out Pinocchio, Doctors, Doctors Slump ( she filmed this the same year with TJFH so you can see how different the characters are), FBND, Sisyphus, You're beautiful, etc.. MOA is a cool drama but PSH was played dirty there, something is worse than Heirs in my opinion but she definitely served the visual.

Honestly, maybe you need to learn more about the legal system in Korea to understand why this drama make so much sense by pocking fun of the reality. And Kang Bitna is a demon in a fantasy drama. If you don't understand at least that then you brain is already useless

She is always slaying her roles though. Just that her roles might not be everyone's cup of tea

It's not though. The romance was setup from the beginning because the story needs it for character development. How else you will make a demon suddenly give a damn about human or victims which she hasn't for hundreds years?

It's weird that actresses need to change up their hair styles abit here and there between their works. Or they would get complaint that they look the same etc... The last time she had bangs was in Doctors which was 8 years ago. If you watch the drama you will have the answers for your other question.

Exactly. With the concept, and potential of her character she probably thought they would give her some action parts to shine. That's prob why she signed up for it, aside cool concept and HB. But they did her real dirty. Like you said the she was basically a guest role even she is the main character. She was just there to serving looks and both PSH and her fans need more than that. I think it hurt her ego too that we haven't seen her in a Tvn project since then.

It's a fun drama with cool concept. But PSH unfortunately couldn't show her talent there. That's all. You can check it out but don't expect much from PSH. I would recommend Pinocchio, Flower boy next door, the call, Doctor Slump, or even Sisyphus if you would like to try other PSH works.

Did I say you have to though? But I was trying actually analyze what you didn't love the 2nd half. Because it's clearly the writer's intention. But since you don't like it it, I assume you didn't like how the emotion and humanization got into our main character. Because it's definitely more fun and exciting during the 1st half. Her punish scenes show very clear of that in contrast with the final punishment. But you do you! I respect your taste and opinion. And clearly you aren't alone either

Basically it's a drama high budget with a lot of potential. They filmed overseas and PSH even learn Spanish for the role. But her character ended up didn't have much to do aside from serving visual. I think PSH was traumatized that she didn't work 3 years after that and hasn't been working with Tvn until this day. PSH tend to "forget" about that drama. Same with her fans.
PS: Actors usually get 1st 5-8 eps for the 1st batch so they have to put trust on the production/ writer for later parts of the story. In this case PSH played 2 roles but both roles were a waste.

Tbh PSH and her fans kinda forgot that drama even she is gorgeous there but they did her so dirty...
