It's ok that you dislike it and I can totally understand. But based on the male lead's interview. The writer and production already have that intention from the beginning. " If everything goes well, we might do the 2nd season". So you can just take out the last minute offer and you still have a complete drama. They live together for 3 years and she goes back to hell.

I'm totally with you and know that's the reality of actress in Korea, or general anywhere. However, with PSH, I believe it's different. 1. Her fame. If anything TJFH proves she star power and capability to carry the drama alone while she usually needed another popular actors as the main lead to carry it with her. 2. Romcom is her safe zone and the industry's safe zone for her too. That means that's where she is the most comfortable and industry would take less risk than her other new roles and genres. That's why she chose it as her very 1st comeback after giving birth. 3. Her reputation. PSH is very well-loved in the industry and Korea. So I would have a hard time to imagine someone reject her due to her marriage status. They could concern but her fame alone would help her to bypass that. 4. What you are implying Korea public can't accept an image of women with kids playing Romcom and I totally believe it. PSH is probably well aware of it than anyone. That's why she keeps her life super private and her image is basically not much changed from her non-marriage dates. That's why her married status doesn't affect her drama and pairings, because most people forget she is married or have kid. That's very smart of her, isn't it? That's why I believe it's totally up to when which road she would like to take. But I'm sure she will take as many diverse and different roles as possible because she couldn't do it earlier. Now it's her chance to showcase her versatility

It's ok the drama is not for you. It's ok if you also have a special taste. Nothing is for everyone. And we respect people's taste and opinion :)

Who is criticizing? Those people who can't differentiate between acting and script ? Those have been blaming for for the writing and directing for years? I mean where is the chemistry if all she does is crying? The dramas they said she didn't have chemistry have 20+ in ratings. Interesting huh? If she didn't have chemistry with the actors there wouldn't be thousands ship out there for her since YB to even now. I mean many people are dying to ship her with the male lead in TJFH, even they know she is married and have a kid. Chemistry alone can't translate on screen and help with the writing . Regardless what you and other think, PSH's biggest hit and popular dramas are still romance. She doesn't need it but she can do whatever she wants. The most important thing is the writing need to be good. Like TJFH writing is good that people think the main lead have chemistry even the romance was barely there. I personally think she was much more at ease with PHS.
And Netflix don't have LR because they don't have it. They will only list what they have. Do you think they would list TJFH as one of the best this year when they don't have it? Make it make sense

I don't think so. This is the writer's very 1st work and she is nothing but thoughtful and attentive from the beginning to the end. In fact this is one drama that both Knetz and Inetz praise from the beginning to the end while most drama these days loose it toward the ending. If she wanted to closed it cleanly, she didn't need to throw in that offer last minute. I personally think it's smart. Because she left an opportunity for 2nd season in a good note. And if they never do, we can also make the decision for ourselves. Nothing really bad would come out whether she accept the offer or not. We can be a part of the story by contribute our thoughts and ideas

It's funny because people are crying for season 2 and praising the drama a lot. You might not like it but it's probably better most average dramas out there.

I think you missed the points of the drama and do not understand it as well. The 2nd half focus on humanizing Bitna to be come a better judge and have more sympathy with the victims. Also because of that, Bitna doesn't have the pleasure of killing as she used to have in the past. She did it as punishment for the victims and killing alot make her emotionally drained as you can see at the end of purnishment. Satan has lived in an old man body in age and was even injured before so it makes sense that he got weaker while Bitna is at her best form. Bitna vs Bael could happen in season 2

Not saying that it's doesn't matter. But actors got bashed and hated on by the writing and characters all the time. I mean PSH got hated because the writer give her nothing but crying all the ep and the director didn't inform her about the kiss. But she was the one who got blamed and hated for years even she only acts according the the character and direction. I'm saying it as actor, he shouldn't checked and care about every little things they said about him. Because he can't please everyone and people could be worse than demon.

Age was never an issue. But change actress with the romance would cause unnecessary drama while the drama is not even focused on romance. So they just keep her visual. And Satan with 2 faces would show you it's up to her to go with whatever visual she wants. She might like Bitna face better. But it's also the human side that Daon is holding on to. If you introduced a new face to him they will need a few eps to digest that. And for what?

If Oh Na Ra is the lead actress then yes. Because she is not changing back to her add more unnecessary drama and clearly the drama doesn't mean to put that much tine in romance

Honestly you think actresses has a lot of choices? The child actresses like her is harder to breakout of the image and roles they love her in. That's why those kind, struggle girls are given to her but PSH tried her best to break that typecast little by little with Doctors, Sisyphus, Alive, The call and more to finally get a completely NEW role like in TJFH. In fact it's from a newbie writer showing that she is taking a lot of risk taking this role. PSH shouldered everything for this drama and role and I'm glad it paid off well. And like you, I hope more antihero, villain, thriller or more complex character will be offered to her. Because I always knew she can do so much more

It's ok if the drama is not your cup of tea because clearly this drama doesn't take itself that serious while sending a very clear message. You are just it's audience.

I mean her 1st project after she came back is a romcom so your point is quite irrelevant. Actresses at PSH fame can choose what they want. It's up to her to choose romcom ( 1st drama this year) and changing up her image (2nd drama this year). But with the success of TJIH, I hope more anti hero, thriller and action roles will be offered to her.
She is still has issues with type casting even she tried hard to get out because even she is 34, married and have a child, majority of Korea public and the industry who watched her growup then to treat her like she has always the beautiful crier she started at age 13

She can do anything she want. You might not like it and it's perfectly fine. But this girl made a name for herself with romcom and romance dramas. Her biggest hits to date are still romcom or romance dramas. Just look at this year, didn't her Doctor Slump was put as #1 romcoms this year by Netflix ?

Pino was my fav of her before this. But Doctors, FBND, the call, Sisyphus are also good.

They left a window for 2nd season. If they have one then she will choose. If they don't then we will choose for her

They don't even understand what Fantasy is. I mean have you watched a fantasy cdrama? anything can happen there

Actors being blamed for the writing or script are not unusually. I mean most of PSH hate due to the writing and directing but she is taking the heat. As an actor, I hope he let loose a bit and not to care too much what people say. Because they will find a way to pick and hate on no matter what.
