Title Escape
surprise yaoi
I won't say it was a suprise, you can most definitely tell that from the trailers.

Definitely an entertaining film—the cinematography(especially the Colours) and acting were solid, and the fight scenes, especially the rooftop fight and chase sequences, were impressive. However, the story felt weak, scattered, and highly predictable.

A 7.5/10—good for when you want something engaging without having to think too much but still feel satisfied.

I will put my 2 cents here.
Ko Jun has long struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. The accident wasn’t the only troubling event—there was also the time he crossed the road against the light, and I suspect he purposely let the biker hit him.

It’s hard to believe that the first accident was the only one he regrets. It feels like the drama tries to touch on this issue in a roundabout way, without directly confronting it. You can’t change a suicidal person’s mindset without intense therapy, and I really wish they’d explored that more deeply.

Since the story is told from Gyeom’s perspective, we only know as much about Ko Jun as Gyeom does. But they missed an opportunity to show how to support and talk to someone dealing with suicidal thoughts. Instead, they just leave it at "you get what you get."

Ko Jun is played by Kim Jae-uck who’s a very versatile actor. If you like rom-coms, he was great in Her Private…
I need to see him in another horror or thriller—no more rom-coms, and definitely not as a villain. He deserves a role that truly delivers on his talent for suspense and intensity.

How does Mubee not have one single friend. It’s unfortunate
Some people are like that ..I would say she was better than Ko Jun 🤣😭 in that aspect.

Came for Ko Jun stayed for Ko Jun and Ko Gyeom. 😭

This series could have been great(it was good but I felt there was something lacking) without the secondary leads, especially the second male lead, who was an insufferable, whiny SOB. Too much time was wasted on them.

Still a great watch..
The cinematography was just 🤌, the music 🤌🤌, the title cards🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌.

I don't like Bai Hao Tian. At all. She kinda ruins it for me...
Same.
Almost made me drop this drama ...her and black glasses (not the character but the actor) were unbearable.

first half of season was good minus the forced romance for sunglasses the second was most boring and humorless.…
Wuxie had better chemistry with that mute Princess/doll than with that girl.
