The ending basically proved the FLâs fear are correct and something to keep in mind.
The ending really ruined the whole movie. They spent the entire film pushing the idea that love is worth the risk and that fear of eventual heartbreak should not justify holding back. The ML given his personal experience with his mother and his scum father never really believed anyone was genuine. But he overcame that and started to fall for the FL. The case is even stronger for the FL who literally just wants to live in their happiest moments because she cannot bear the thought of the love fading. So she holds back and pulls away from the relationship. The film keeps preaching that message all the way to the end only to deliver an ending that contradicts it.

Honestly Grid is a good drama....but the first half dragged way too much. Then the writer basically implied a second season would clear everything up only to drop the ball and move on to another âsci-fiâ project that wasnât really sci-fi at all......just a dressed up whodunit. The plot is the problem. Reading it is honestly a chore.... It is just a pile up of every romance trope thrown together....it's messy, stupid, and the downfall is so bad even the loyal fans hated it.
Out of all the actually good webtoons out there this painfully mediocrity is what they wanna adapt.

I have been saying this on reddit for the longest time. Some people are so obsessed with this drama that when I called boudoir a scam they jumped to defend it saying things like âNo that is a legit company....did you even watch the drama?â
To your point luxury conglomerates would not let some unknown brand just roll in and take their place. And honestly just the name âBoudoirâ alone feels like it would have caught the attention of the brand Dior. They would have ripped her apart legally.
Then there is the whole identity issue. In 2024 you canât just exist without a verifiable identity. You need a resident registration number for practically everything. So are we supposed to believe she did not have one......even while she was living as sarah kim.... staying at hotels, renting shops, or buying cars? And what about when she worked at parada? Wouldn't they have needed a copy of her RRN or Alien registration card if she was an immigrant ?

The police obviously checked with the Foreign affairs section and know that there never existed a Sarah Kim.......they know that she didn't study at Oxford University... The point of searching the lake was to prove that Mok Gahui was alive not dead. So when the corpse was identified as male they should have proceeded with the assumption that Mok Gahui was alive and restarted the investigation....the fraud case.
Also couldn't they have used her former employee ....the one she fired...to identify her as Sarah Kim? And in the hospital, even if her tissue sample was missing she would still have been registered as a donor and the hospital would have other records.(Like her admission and other surgery details) ....
Also,Why didnât they check her marriage certificate either? She would have one when she married that older man and there should be a record of it at city hall.
This drama had many writing issues yet people are pretending it is underrated. I am a fan of both leads but the script was poor. The only thing that made this otherwise weak drama watchable was their acting.
