His character was initially introduced as the Vice President of a company who supports the MC and also funds the reporter to write and cover more about the MC, if I remember correctly. Later on, it's revealed that he is a fellow serial killer. So, I think it's better if you mark those parts as spoilers. There might be people coming here for updates. Additionally, we might never know how someone decides to develop a story (the writers may go with the webtoon or can just spin their own version, which I hope they don't do).
I think i am done with this drama. Really fed up with the mom and the dad. I mean why can't the writer just continue with the strong independent single mom trope???! . The show was great until the father was introduced, it should have been just the mom, jin hee and jae won.
Also the father is one of the most bland character I have seen.

The main demon(Park il-do) is not gone because the demon itself said he was there even before man found fire, implying that he cannot be associated with any religion. Also throughout the series the demons that Yoon exorcised were lesser demons(ones that probably manifested after christianity was found.)
