Think ZZH was filming another drama that required him to gain a little bit more weight and look more manly. His hair was cut very shortly too. If u look at the previous months, he had his hair longer and was much slimmer.

ZZS is getting more beautiful and gentle as the story progresses. I definitely see a huge difference between before and after.

I certainly found it more intriguing that the other one. Good acting skills, better fighting scenes, script and storyline. Every episode never fails me. ..

They kept a low profile, not low budget.

I like ZYL, he did a fabulous job in playing his role, but the character is somewhat sad, miserable and bitter all the way through. His life is so tragic and everyone is trying to kill him... Also I don’t understand why he Is constantly switching between the 2 women.

I agree! I notice he’s always listed as main Lead role, but he’s 2nd male lead role not really 1st lead. With his popularity, acting a skills, and fan base, he’s pretty much capable of being made 1st made lead in higher budget dramas! Not cheaply ones.

Amazing acting performance, he’s very versatile and can switch from one person to another! He resembles Vin Zhang a little as well!

The Drama got kind of long and boring in between, I skipped some of it. It was hilarious in some scenes though. As someone said, there wasn’t much on the seeing patients despite female lead acting as a doctor; there wasn’t a lot on finding clues for seeking revenge; and she seemed like a personal servant constantly being bullied. I must admit, the male lead is super duper handsome with perfect facial features, however the female lead is really unattractive and unappealing. She has a face of a maid who you will never remember. In fact I found a few average maids much prettier than her so I’m not sure why she was chosen at all. It’s like beauty and the beast in here except it’s the other way round where the male is beauty and the female is beast. At least choose an average looking female! It will make it more realistic as I am finding it difficult to digest!

I’ve watched a majority of Yu Menglong’s historic dramas and have always liked him, but I must admit his recent works are rather plain and boring, there are not much actions to it and they fail to show his charming points. The trailers were great, but I was quite disappointed with his last 2 pieces of work. He acted as a powerless human being in the “Legend of White Snake” where he required minimum effort to do anything. To be fair, I’ve watched older versions and they were all boring so I’m not too sure why he accepted this project. You know you will suffer from backlash if you play crappy weak characters especially when your previous projects were an ace! His “Love Lasts Two Minds” was not great either, he was permanently Iil, time to time spitting up blood and falling sick. All these points will shadow him causing him to look even weaker. I found both characters very similar. The female lead of “Love Lasts Two Minds” was average looking and I found her acting as “Ah Yuan” overreacting and constantly trying to look cute and bubbly.

Yu Menglong has potential and needs stronger and determined characters to play with. These weak and ill characters are not doing him any good, and will only give him an image of a sick prince. I first encountered Menglong in Xuan Yuan Sword Han Cloud, he was bombastic! He won many girls’ hearts and even exceeded the other male lead. His cold and aloof character was filled with hatred, anger and violence yet he still retained his innocence. I have noticed a change in his looks over the years, he’s lost some baby fat and looks more mature now. Watching his interviews, I think he has lost some of his cute goofy laughs too. I am actually quite sad his dramas qualities have gone down the hill. For those who complain about his acting, please watch Xuan Yuan Sword Han Cloud. Sadly this drama was never subbed in English, so not a lot will understand what’s going on. I would like to see a similar Mo Yuan Character, he does play semi evil characters very well. All of these weak characters are no good for him at all, otherwise he will just constantly repeat the same old roles as an ill prince.

I will still watch his future dramas and hopefully he is careful with the projects he select.

I was watching only because of Yu Meng Long but to be honest I’ve watched old versions of the Legend of the White Snake. The storyline is generally boring regardless of who is playing the characters. It’s just about a monk chasing after a white snake who is in love with a human being..there isn’t anything that sparks me in the story,
