Does anyone know if ep 31-32 are fixed yet before ep 33 is aired tomorrow?

Maybe they are editing in such way so there’s more screen time for GJs character as he seems to be the more popular one. Somehow both leads just switched as the story progressed. Any idea when the re edited versions will be up? Because ep33 will be up on Tuesday in our time. I also wonder if it’s possible to make a special/directors cut version after all this has been aired justlike the untamed, it would be great to see the cut scenes added on.

I read a few reviews on douban with my half ass Chinese, even some of them are complaining that’s it’s WKX s revenge story and ZZX was only a tool, the writer only inserted in inside the story from time to time when he was needed. I’m hurt for ZZX for he done for WKX, he placed full trust in him even just before WKX jumped off the cliff and now ZZS is dying..

I feel sad reading what you have written and that’s exactly how I felt too. I blame the script writer for decline in quality of work.

Strangely both leads were beaten up by YBY in that night scene, ZZS ended up with a sling for a few days and WKZ needed herbal bath treatment. On contrast ZZS was tortured badly by Jin Wangs men including having metals hooks pierced through his shoulders, we never got to see how he recovered? He met the healer in black robe then next scene was he was perfectly fine smiling and having his combed? Must be some magic going on. The scriptwriter never bothered to have to write extra scenes on this as she never cared about ZZX health.

When WKX and Ghost Valley members came to rescue ZZS from Jin Wang, my question was when did Ghost Valley made friends with WKX again? I thought they were plotting something against him with Scorpion? The cut was badly without explanation.

thing they were fine? Did I miss something?

It’s good that WKX is still alive as I can’t bear ZZSs sadness of loosing his partner. But knowing that he has removed all his nails forcefully, the smile on WKX makes me feel like he’s a jerk. Even in the preview 33 the script writer is still trying to create a scene for him to make him look like a hero back from the dead. From what I see, once WKZs revenge is complete that’s the storyline finished.

ZZS has sacrificed far more for WKZ including jumping off cliff, removing nails from his body, and he was even asked YBY to kill him as well if he were to kill WKX. I think it’s something that the some audience are not paying attention to as it all being overshadowed by WKX extrovert character. Being flirty, talkative and having that half good and half evil personality is definitely an advantage. Was the script writer trying to create another WWX from The Untamed? I know XZs character was highly popular, and only WKZs character in the drama can be played around to create another WWX lookalike....and the falling off the cliff was not in the novel?
I’m not surprised if it was inspired by The Untamed with added extra spices.

Thank god we are not the only one complaining here! It make us sound like we are the bitter and unhappy bunnies when we are clearly seeing something that is going wrong! I’m glad the audiences over there are less bias than here, cos all I’m seeing is WKX WKX, but where is MALE LEAD NUMBER 1?
As the drama progresses I’m getting more pissed with the scriptwriter, she clearly faded ZZX out and lied to us that the story will focus back onto him! Where? When he was captured for half an hour?

Only a few people noticed this issue, the rest of them are fine as long as it’s focusing the other lead. I must admit it is a disappointment esp when the first half of the drama was doing great where they focused both characters, now I see it’s just a complete messy and chopping storyline. Yes writer was more intrigued with WKX from the start, his character had better development and continued this way.. while ZZS became more and more bland with less focus. .. no one really cared about his injuries or past. His purpose was to support WKXs revenge, like a vase supporting its flowers. How mean of the scriptwriter! But not that it matters as people are only there to see WKX!

Yes, when I watched the trailers I was wondering what an earth was going on. While ZZX who is Han Yings best friend was like let it go...WKX was like he lost his lover? As if ZZS died or something? Then he loses his sanity...

It’s not about being negative, the scriptwriter has been questioned in China before because even the audience can see it that ZZXs character isn’t getting much attention but hes lead character right? She obviously defended herself... but the way he was written was just not doing him any justice..

Anyway I leave this.. I’ll still watch the drama, but with the choppy editing from the last 2 episodes and how this drama lost focus on who we were watching before, my rating for it is lowered.

Can’t agree with you more, that’s how I felt. I thought it was to do with his growing popularity so why not shift focus to him instead and make ZzX the supporting cast ?

It wasn’t the last 2 episodes, I noticed a change, it was around the early 20s, the pace slowed down and the screen focused heavily on WKXs revenge.. then everything became revenge revenge. Screen time focus it all on WKX.

Actually I think I’ve seen enough of WKXs childhood and the death of his parents, its been played over and over again in his nightmares, and even his maid explains to us what happened to him. Ok we get it. What about ZZSs sect? He only briefly mentioned it, with a few flashbacks. I’m still not quite getting his story....and is Jin Wang finished now? That was quick, he only came out like one episode and he’s bedridden forever..?

From what I see, ZZSs 7 nails pain and complete wipe out of Arc was not as convincing as WKXs tragic childhood and lost of parents. That’s how it was visually banged into our heads in the drama.

Nope, they never really focused on ZZS in the last half of the storyline, they only did for so many minutes when he was captured by Jin Wang then when that was finished it was really it, back to WKXs revenge. WKX had a much longer screen time when his story was told, even when his hair was being combed? The remaining 4 episodes are predictable, it’s about WKXs revenge again when they comes back.

Got to agree, what’s with ep32? One scene we here then next we are there....and the ghosts, who’s side are they in? Sometimes they are helping WKX then the next scene they are siding with Scorpion against Ghost Valley? Huh? I’m totally confused.

I’m also annoyed why ZZS has turned into a supporting cast, as I did mention before we are watching WKXs revenge drama, he suddenly seemed to have become male lead 1. Why was the script writer so biased towards him from the start. It totally diverged from the novel. They didn’t just thicken the plot as some said before, they took ZZS out from the male lead character and made him less interesting.

As for Window Heaven, so they storyline is done with them? So Jin Wang just becomes bedridden forever?

The lacing certainly went funny in the latest 2 episodes, I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed it. One moment we are here then we jump elsewhere without explanation of what has happened prior it... I heard they are re-editing 31-32

You are also jumping into some stupid conclusion. Obviously you haven’t seen enough dramas and no Chinese cultural awareness that’s why you started with the most stilly question from the beginning. People won’t understand you here, obviously in the wrong forum to begin with. You need to seek help and return to your American sites.
