The drama itself was rather unusual as it took the original plot of Word of Honor to a far more enhanced and enriched level. Gong showed remarkable improvement in his shoddy acting skills. Though rusty, jerky and retard-ish initially, he managed to take a full grasp of his true villain character (Wen Kei Xing) under the guidance of his 2 best friends named “Money” and “Fame”. As a Ghost leader, he was afraid of light therefore he frequently made aggressive promotions, advertisements and sellings through the name and face of his ex colleague.
However, as the story progressed, greed took its own initiative and he fully made sure that his profits were only shared between himself and his Ghost Valley Team. He then decided to reward his former colleague with hot scorching oil for daily massage and nice bath. Preferably if this ex colleague of his bathed there forever that would be even better.

No one could have played WKX from WOH any better than GJ himself… basically because.. he played himself in the drama. A scheming, cunning and despicable demonic ghost leader from the Ghost Valley who struggled from the bottom, like he did in the Chinese entertainment circle. He was raised from a lowly background, possessing limited singing, dancing and acting skills but he had enough devious calculative skills to survive day by day. His intriguing red robe was iconic, which truly symbolised that he was True Monster in human form in the reality.
Greed, fame and ambition were his top pushing powers. In order to survive to capture the most precious ‘Glazed Armour’, which will eventually lead to fame, success and a massive golden pot, he planned conspiracy with his Ghost Members, stepped on top of numerous innocent corpses including his onscreen friends, set malicious attacks to remove all obstacles, dispersed countless fake ‘Sugar-glazed Armours” to the naive CP community, manipulated human minds through great advertisements/ shows and reproduced works of others without their consent etc. This was all to increase the Ghost Valley’s filthy rich corrupted bank.
However, as the story progressed, the direction of the wind shifted and this scheming eventually became exposed, and we yet to see how this Ghost Leader will end up. There has been a lot of twists and turns in this “Special Episode” of WOH, my mouth and eyes dropped completely. He is an absolute incredible actor, and has always had the upper hand of the game . No one would have expected this… and certainly no one could have played this role other than him.
Retribution will occur and time will soon tell who shall pay for this filthy act of drama.
