Pairing is important as well. look at Xiao Zhans The Longest promise. People are watching it for XZ really., not the female lead.

You don’t have rate anything to show that you have watched or completed. As a Chinese person I’ve when watching dramas since I was 3 lol! His acting is just bland. I’m only there for Reba, shame is she’s attached to a poor male lead.

You are right, they killed SY and JM, then they suddenly decided to add this spider woman to be in charge of the demon organisation, it made no sense, I actually thought TTJ had no workers serving him after DG killed the both. They mixed and mashed scenes together, and showed all side characters but we are not getting anything out of these people at all. The ending episode did not flow at all. I would say it’s the only episode that failed me, though I did see that near the end of 39, they were really pushing it.

I didn’t what the hell was going on, At least you have explained things, but the all these cut scenes mashed and pasted back together. Ep 40 was actually lame and they could have simplified things without trying to make it looking more “artistic”.

Anyone explain to me WHAT IN THE WORLD was going on in ep 40? We jumped from this scene to that scene then from this costume to that costume? We see YQY in black hair then white hair. LsS suddenly appears in the tomb after all that fight, then remembers the past. Then we have TTJ writing his grave… the list goes on. It’s just all randoms scenes joining together.

Yes agree, I’ve never in my life come across a male lead who’s as tragic and unfortunate as him. From ep 1 to 40 he remains as pitiful as ever and it has never changed. Never seen any ML like that.

I still think every minute is very important , there are a few episodes left only. Shouldn’t fit in too much unnecessary things. Should have cut a huge chunk of the Bore dream arc away. I don’t mind YBC being cut even more. Lol
