One thing I like in this version of Life on Mars compared to the British version, is how the relationship between Tae Joon and Dong Cheol is obviously evolving. Dong Cheol actually NOTICES his partner's headaches and worries, not just Ms. Yoon. It isn't brushed over as it was in the original.
But oh man, when is the OST going to be released? The ending song is awesome :D
Wish they kept in the original romance plot, ah well. The chemistry between them and soon-to-be evolving friendship will suffice :D [Edit: lol I totally forgot about the laws on gay representation in the media ]
By the way does anyone know where I could get my paws on the translation of the novel this show is adapted from? (: Please and thank you~
I've been putting this of for a LONG time because I honestly hate romance in action shows. I find them pointless to the plot and are only there to mess with the main lead's character. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the female leads i just don't see the point of them getting together. But I was in a melancholy mood and picked this up just for the hell of it. Boy, do i want to go back in time and punch my past self in the face. Really digging the story so far!!!
I'm a HUGE fan of the British Life on Mars and I love the way they've adapted it in Korea. It's simultaneously different yet not. The characters are similar, the setting is awesome and i have to say, Han Tae Joo's level headedness is refreshing compared to Sam Tyler's (don't get me wrong I love him but sometimes I want to shake him by the collar). All in all, looking forward to new episodes!
Just wondering, am I the only one getting Nam Goong Min vibes from Jung Kyung Ho?
Sehun and Kwang Soo's friendship is so hilarious. The part when they both fanboy over actress Jung Hye Sung was too cute (also insanely relatable). Anyways I'm really glad to see how well the cast is getting along, as well as how less scripted (as much as it can be lol) recent episodes are being. They're more comfortable when 'playing' the game.
The best way i can describe this is that it's like a video game. You are the controller trying to figure things out independently while there are characters who help you along the way.

Also, I have a terrible feeling Namsin3 is gonna 'die' at the end. Hope I'm just guessing wrong!!!
