Gao Wei Guang, a man of action!
This drama is not an extraordinary one, but a good one if one's brain has taken backseat and decided to enjoy the ride. Amidst the pros and cons, I have decided to think about the pros and leave cons a thousand miles behind.1. Gao Wei Guang was awesome. After Candle in the tomb (2019), he got to show his martial prowess in this drama. His acting is good, even his eyes have more expressions than the most other GenZ actors.
2. Jia Nai Na surprised me with her acting. Though people might find her character annoying, I must say, her character was well-written. Such people do exist and are living and breathing around us. And, we often fall victims to their schemes.
3. Ren Hao was good, but his part didn’t give him much space to bloom. He deserved a better resolution.
4. Liu En Jia and Peng Bao are new to me. But, they made me their fan. I am looking forward to their works.
5. Martin Zhang's smirk and his action were on point. His was a gray character. His character was not well-written and explored. But, again! It is a 24-episode-drama.
***Editing is not praiseworthy.
*** I will watch it again in my spare time only for GWG and Jia Nai Na.
***The drama didn’t do justice to GWG's talent.
***Talking about Xuan Lu, if she got a director who could actually give her better guidance, she would outshine all.
