I can truly empathize with Fiatâs current predicament. He was single and promiscuous, which is not a crime, however, he tried to go after Type despite knowing Type had a boyfriend. He defended himself by saying Type isnât married so heâs fair game. Now all of his past indiscretions are coming back to haunt him. Atonement anyone? I respect the writers that are depicting one still has to pay for actions made in the past regardless of time and maturity. Sure, Fiat has changed, but it doesnât erase the hurt he inflicted on others. I love that this show doesnât just gloss over it and it is addressed.
Itâs even more heartbreaking that Leo blames himself for Fiatâs issue. Had I just confessed sooner⊠I do hope they force Fiat to stand on his own and stop relying on Leo to clean up all his problems. I donât think there is anything wrong with having supports, however, Fiat not willing to stand up for himself, especially when Leo is getting hurt in the process, will be a major issue for me. We are only 3 episodes in so I donât expect Fiat to miraculously change now, but by the end, I hope he grows up and give Leo the commitment and consideration Fiat has given him all these years.
Amen, Friend. I am currently watching and I have never hated a FL character as much in my life. I am only continuing to watch b/c of 2 FL and Lu Yang b/c he is so adorable.
it's good enough to pass the time. it might seem fine at first but it won't sustain your interest or engross you after a few eps. I wouldn't rely on someone who says this is their favorite because it just can't be. But it's a great premise, no denying that. Give it a watch if you've run out of shows only.
The first few episodes felt like it was going to go in an compelling direction & I got my hopes up but then it instantly lost all steam - it became suddenly puffy & overly sweet within an episode, & in doing so all conflict and tension in the main couple VANISHED in thin air and the following episodes strangely visted some overly familar BL territory & predictable situations even though they had this kind of new premise to play with.
It's since become strictly background watching for me, it cannot hold my full attention no matter the conflict or barriers the story brings in, iI's uneven storytelling, with a lot of unfulfilled potential & heaps of uninspired & overly familiar turns in the story. I dropped the show since the last two eps but i will come back to it. Find it hard to accept that this is what they resorted to after have such a cool premise.
