LOVED IT!!!

Wow this drama really was well worth viewing if not once but more!!!

I loved the characters esp. Leo Wu .... The main leads chemistry was off the chart and I especially loved the fact that after 5 years he did come back looking a bit more mature with a slight Hair growth, that just added to his whole hotness !!!

This drama even though may have been long, and broken into parts, was played out and set out... every time line and the flow of the scenes was well played and in a timeously way... there was not second guessing as to what was happening and why ... the elders in the drama were really good, and we didn't have to go through the whole back stabbing and not good enough for this person etc ... I loved Shangsong grandmother, she was supper hilarious and really made the drama exciting, I also the emperor, he came out as a more understanding and compassionate king then a ruthless one ... This story has everything from power struggles not just in crown but each involved families in its surroundings. I can see the well plan of details as well as story as it keeps us in all states of emotions.

The production was well set out and the scenes were right with timing and plot that needed to showed.

The music was good.

Overall, Part 1 & 2 has nicely wrapped up the love & emotions of the leads as well the historical series, with a gripping plot and lovable characters, both leading and supporting. Character relationship in Love Like the Galaxy is one of the most precious and unique parts of the drama, showing every kind of love, and not just romantic. Through interactions and experiences, Cheng Shaoshang has finally come to accept her position in the world, and Ling Buyi has come to trust Shaoshang as not just the person he loves, but as her own separate person.

It well worth watching ... definitely a keeping drama when you need to rewatch with nothing else to go through.

Why Did I Watch this ....

This movie can be considered impossible to watch, First of all, the editing is GOD AWFUL who edited this ? It is a hot mess and it just switches from scene to scene so sloppy. The acting is over the top and ridiculous at times.

I am really not understanding how this got such high ratings, and yet it was so bad, the acting was really bad, there was no flow to the story, it skipped to like 5 years later, in a matter of a second!!!

The series also didn't explore much about xiao Chen wife and kid... it was like there were just thrown into the picture cuz mommy wish was for one her sons to be married, the fact that the mother didn't even try to understand her sons is really so sad, and to ask for something like that on your death bed and leave your children guilt ridden, that just pissed me off, the other son, didn't seem to have any issues living his life with his man.

WHAT A WASTE OF A MOVIE!!!!

Amazing and Excellent

Wow I have watched the series too many times to count, since its release.

Everything about this bromance was really good and the actors were so well sync.

The music was excellent and I actually listen to it every single chance I get.

This drama has made me laugh out loud and cry like a baby, this drama has achieved way more than what other big budget production has not. I do think as fans of BL, especially from China with it's censorship, we need to reward productions who do not skew from the original story, who do non add random female characters, who do focus on story telling with intentions and a POV. ZZH is so good playing the reluctant role of the "mouse" with such subtlety and finesse, that you will find new hints of his intentions at every rewatch. Not to mention all the dynamic supporting roles, written with back stories and characteristic intent that supports this Wuxia JiangHu, he was really amazing in this drama and exceptional HOT. I also love Simon and I think they partnered up really well, just like The Untamed drama, the chemistry was there and acting was so well done. I really loved this drama.

I could honestly say that this fitted in if not a bit better then the untamed, my absolutely two favorite dramas in the bromance line up.

The production team, scriptwriters, costumes/makes up (behind the scenes workers) and cast did an awesome job and bringing the story, setting and each character to life. It was much better than I expected since this is one of the novels from Priest that I enjoy next to another one. The scriptwriter really knows how to add the romance and confessions in the the spoken poetries from KX.

Gonna do another round of re-watching!!!

Definitely not what I thought it would be

It was dragged more than it should have. The whole Por cheating thing should have ended within two episodes also they could have wrapped the whole series within highest six episodes. Both of the main actors are really good but there was no chemistry between them.

I did find tawan to be a little on the doofus side, surely you know be the third text, and avoidance from por that should have been red flagged or that you are being seriously ghosted, why then would you still hold onto something like that?

The other side couples were okay, nothing really fantastic and nothing to dull.

This drama was not what i was expecting, it was like a sweet side story, there was hardly a kiss in this drama, which came across as more of a bromance than a love story or BL.

Overall: Its an okay watch.

Expected More from this

This movie was not what I had expected.

I enjoyed the movie. It felt dark, and gritty. I loved the characters, even with all their flaws and insecurities.

The movie is about flawed characters and their tangled life. Which I do not mind, its just that I do not have to like them and/or sympathize with them. The character Imagase is obsessed, a stalker and cajoled his "Love" into having sex. He pushed him to a point where the other guy "Falls" in love with him and longs for him. Otomo repeatedly and continually cheats. He has no respect for anyone else's feelings. I think he is a sociopath. Extremely self-obsessed and emotionally immature. Yes people like these are all around us and in a movie we would like to see the redemption part of such characters. Here I felt that was missing. There was no redemption for Imagase. He is still as obsessed with Otomo as he was before to a point tha he cannot even enjoy sex with someone else, even though he chose to leave Otomo. Otomo appears to have redemption by falling in love with Imagase, which is really unrealistic, cause this is a realistic movie and sociopaths need serious rehabilitation. By loving someone you cannot redeem yourself. There was no serious consequences for the two lead characters, they have treated other people with such disrespect that the movie should have shown some consequences for them. Yes, one can argue that they did not end up together and there was no happy ending. To be honest these two characters cannot be happy together unless they work on their issues. May be at the end the makers wanted to show some glimpse of road to redemption by Otomo, but Imagase was left hanging. All in all it was not a satisfying experience for me to watch this. I am all for movies portraying complex characters who are ruthless and self absorbed. But I am against glorifying them and I think in this movie both these characters were glorified and the director wanted us to sympathize with them. Sorry I could not.

Overall: Its not a movie I would recommend, guess its basically up to you to give it a try.

Kind of Pitiful ....

The series is a cliché, which carries many problems. We have Third who is in love with his best friend (Khai), and he's a complete jerk. Not because Khai does not return his feelings, but because he is a terrible friend. In the first episode I even sympathized with Third's problems, but by the time the second one arrived, I was already full and wanted him to take the reins of his life and go after someone else, or be alone. What's wrong with being alone? I did third was very pitiful and depressing, how can some endure loving someone who treats you like you rubbish for all those years.

Before I start, let me talk about what I like in the show first before we get down to the downside of this. Firstly, the cinematography is great! I like the editing and I like the movie names being the title of each episode portrayed. It’s creative and it’s nice to see filmology major students instead of the same old engineering, science/medicine or economics major students in Thai BLs. The train scene is also great, it’s shot really nicely and for me is the saddest scene in the show itself.

Khai’s character development was not good enough. While I never liked him for the entire 12 episodes, him falling in love with Third was so rushed and for me, it didn’t make sense. I was questioning the show while watching it and I never got my answers in the end. How and why Third did fall in love with Khai? (I know that Third fell in love with him at first sight but that can’t be the only reason right) What were Khai's good qualities and traits? Why couldn't they show some actual good traits of Khai to the viewers so that I could understand as well instead of wasting so much time on the subplots?

Was it a bad drama? No. But it’s not good either. For me, this drama could have been better. This was a wasted potential for me. Do I recommend people to try this show? Watch it and judge it yourself. You might have a different opinion from me. That's all I could say for this show.

Romeo vs Juliet with a twist

Okay so this drama did kind of catch me by surprise, because I most definitely was not expecting this sort of story.

The story is interesting, in the sense the opening of Korn & Intouch devasting ending, rather than beginning, The series starts with the tragic double suicide of Korn/In, certainly not the lighthearted schoolboys-fall-in-love stuff that is so common in BL (though the characters are students). The double suicide is the result of parental objections to their relationship because of their sexual orientation, a rather serious consequence compared to popular BL series that treat the topic of objecting parents less seriously. the reincarnation or reborn of both the characters years later, but with a heartbreaking twist of how the recall the past lives. I will say that Pharm role and the way he carried his out role was really amazing, you literally felt his emotions and sadness when he recalled a piece of intouch memory. The 4 main characters were really well played and the story flowed through well, you could see the build up of Korn/Intouch through Pharm/Dean and how each of them experienced they love for each in there own, the difficulties and challenges that they faced.

In spite of major fantastical element (reincarnation), the biggest plus for this drama is that it depicts a healthy, positive, loving, realistic gay relationship, nothing is sensationalized or fetishized, there are no toxic tendencies, . On the other hand, homophobia and, especially, suicide are treated seriously and respectfully . Their consequences are serious, horrifying and lasting, the entire families devastated.

Music - This single handily will win over the audience. The lyrics are deep, personal and resonates with the pain of the past and the hope for the future.

Overall : This drama was well thought out and excuted well, there were small hitches, but not enough to take you away from the story and what was transpiring.

Extremely Slow & Boring ...

This drama is short 6 episodes, but they are extremely slow and move along at a snail pace.

I am not exactly sure what the story line is about, as they is no flow to it, its like everyone is everywhere and there is no light at the end of the drama.

For me, it was pretty boring and forgettable. ATTENTION TO BULLYING. CUTE ACTORS. REAL KISSING. Finally!

But yeah, I personally didn't like this. I just felt disconnected from it.

Much of the series is more like a collection of disconnected scenes rather than something that flows together to weave a story. Something will happen one moment and then the next it's like the last one didn't happen.

Overall : This drama is likely to be forgotten by the time i close this off.

Cute & Sweet ...

The story line was rather bland, your typical accident and fake amnesia, the whole falling in love part etc...

However, it was kind of gripping to watch, and I did not see the second younger brother do such a 360 and turn about, for me that was really unexpected, and I guess it took the whole element of surprise to a new level.

There is nothing much to say about this series, it is just one of those cute and adorable drama, the FL as always played the girl next door type and she played it really well, she typical seems to thrive on these kind of series, and she does play them really well, probably why I watched it. The ML lead was my first time watching him, and I like how he always stayed true to her feelings, and was always considerate. the rest of the cast were pretty good, especially the two from the untamed, what a difference seeing them in something else.

The Music was really good and I have it on my playlist.

All it was a sweet round up drama with a happy ending.

XZ Amazing

Okay I have literally lost trace on the times I have re-watched this series, it was super amazing and of course the ML lead well there are no words to distinguish how well he acted.

The first watch was of course just to see this amazing actor, and literally that is all I need, was watch him, didn't get the whole story or anything else for that matter. XZ was really amazing, what i particular liked was that there was no over dubbing so his voice was his and that was all i needed to watch this man, his character was well played and the way portrayed himself and the tasks that he handled in order to overcome his situation, was really good.

The second watch was of course was for the story, I'm coming to this drama without prior knowledge of the donhua or novel. So I am coming to this drama with a fresh pair of eyes and no preconceived ideas what the story should be like. but as i got into it sort of made sense again being a die hard of XZ did help in continuing with the story, I particular enjoyed the FL she was kind of cute especially with her bunny ears, she played that role well, in the sense that bunnies are cute and often playful. The story itself is pretty straightforward, not hard to follow along but somehow I felt like it lacked substance. Even with there being mysteries and secrets, the way the story was executed never left me with anticipation. A lot of scenes felt unnecessary to the overall story; they made it seem like it was important at one time but then brushed it aside later on never touching upon it much again, let alone giving it much closure.

The third/forth watch etc ... was just to try and make sense of everything, Douluo Continent has a wonderful mix of good-natured, determined, and funny characters. The “7 Devils” (main group) all experienced personal growth and development. It was a rough start for them at first because each one of them had different personalities and backgrounds, but their team chemistry gradually solidified throughout the drama. For me, character growth and friendships are just so sweet to watch.

I recommend to watch this drama if you're into fantasy and adventure. Other than that this drama doesn't offer much, but at least I don't regret watching it.

Got more than I bargained for

This K-drama took me by surprise, as I didn;t think i would be so invested with it, but it turns out really good.

Such a well-made drama with mind-blowing plot development and intriguing elements. If more of such dramas are made in Korea in future,
◽ The characters’ personalities and the chemistry between them. The variety of amazing interactions we’ve got depending on who was on screen was perfect.
The production quality. This show is simply beautiful. I have no complaints about CGI either, which is a surprise, since I always complain about some details related to it.
◽ The acting from the majority (but not the whole) cast.

I feel like the drama overall failed its female characters. They failed at setting it up in an interesting way and failed to show how connected it is to everything happening. Which is sad, because from the few scenes we have seen with Jin Bu Yeon, she seemed like an extremely strong, brave and worth watching character.

Overall : It was a nice paced out drama, not sure if I could do a rewatch of it, but we will see

Not worth it

firstly this is only 2 episode drama and each 20 minutes!!! Why we needed 2 is beyond my understanding ...

This was short that I don't think I even got the understanding of it, the guy goes off to a resort to get away from a breakup and then meets the owner son, falls in love in a matter of seconds and boom its over .... literally the end.. How they thought this actually happens is so unreal

if you need something quick to play in the background while sitting in a car or gaming this is it..

Its short pointless and not worth it (my own opinion)

Its okay to watch

To me, what makes the drama stand out the most is the two main lead characters and great choreographed fighting scenes. I love how both leads are equally strong, and they understand each other well. There is no damsel in distress, it is always them fighting side by side against the enemy together and protecting each other when one of them is in danger. It is also entertaining to see them argue with each other, and their push and pull relationship! Hei Fengxi (Feng Lanxi) is a smart and strong character, he is a formidable foe. He’s always ahead of each other, know what others are planning, has a backup plan, and more. But you’ll understand why he did all that because it is the survival of the fittest. In order for him to be safe from all the schemes, he needs to schemes, outwit others and think ahead. On the other hand, Bai Fengxi (Feng Xiyun) is a dauntless and free-spirited character. She has a genuine heart, she cares for the world but at the same time, she does not let those bad guys off easily. Bai Fengxi uses white silk as her weapon because she believes in the world of martial arts, the highest level is not to kill. Who Rules The World also has immaculate fighting scenes. It has a brilliantly choreographed fighting scene with engaging shots and thankfully no slow motion. The drama has adequate cinematography with bright also appropriate levels of color grading along with close-ups, immersive, and tracking shots. The Costumes were really exceptional especially, when Yang Yang was dressed in the Black outfit.

Anchored by Yang Yang and Zhao Lusi, you can expect eye candy in the drama! Both of them are gorgeous actors whose emotions and facial expressions transform and make them compelling in their appeal. Moreover, the drama also features a large ensemble cast with many familiar faces. Zhao Lusi has once again surprised us with her new role.

Overall. Who Rules The World is a good watch if you are looking for a light historical drama (also a good watch for those who are new to cdrama).

Disappointing to say the least

I was really looking forward to this drama after watching the trailer, and with streak viewership on Bl in china I did have my reservations.

I did enjoy this drama, but it felt like was missing something altogether, the story itself was not at all bad, the leads were okay, and well matched, With all my respect, it´s just simply this kind of rushed scenes, actions and endings that make web series like this not enjoyably enough to give it a high ranking. the story didn't seem to keep a fixed pace. Some parts felt too fast, while some felt too slow to me .

For me the most disappointing part was the last 2 episodes, especially the ending !!! it just seemed to have ruined the whole drama. I am not even sure what was the point to the ending?

Ultimately, is it worth the watch? This may seem contradictory but yes. I enjoyed it, all but the last episode. The story is actually good. Would I watch it again? Absolutely not. Once is more than enough.

It fell short of being good

So for me this did start off with real protentional, but after the first episode it was down hill for me after that, I just could not understand the real purpose of having to go through 5 episodes just to choose one guy, and realize that you have feelings for him, this would have worked out better if they turned it into a mini drama or a movie in one go.

The 3 main characters were nice to see considering I had just finished Gen Y 2 and there were in there. They acting was not bad, but they did seem to lack chemistry between them and on one drunk night he kisses one of them, while they all share a bed (3 people in 1 bed that is where I lost interest). This for me could have also been turned into a reality show even.

I just found that I started skipping through just to get the end, then I wish I hadn't cuz the ending was the final nail in the coffin, I mean after all that, they get an offer for a bigger house, and what was going to happen to Ray, become a third wheel or someone who they needed to cook for them.

Overall: this drama is so not worth it for me.
