Lol Ageeed! I liked the 1st episode but it progressively got boring…Currently stuck on ep 9… And now reading about the ending doesn’t make sense to continue 😅
Really liked: 1. FL character - she is smart, kind and positive. (Tried to watch Hometown Cha Cha Cha several times but kept putting on hold because I didn’t like FL character there, but now I think I will because of the actress)
2. Friendship between 3 men and FL also FL and her best friend- I find it meaningful and fun… interestingly some of my favorite dramas (Reply 1988 & Welcome to Samdari) have the same dynamic - which I enjoy so much.
3. « Health is sexy » - favorite quote. What a smart way to put it. Im sure most of us tried to eloose weight at some point of our lives but not all those methods were healthy… This accent on health first puts things into perspective. Love it!
4. Mature leads and very nice visuals of them together. (Tired of cute MLs in recent dramas - bring mature adult MLs back!)…
While I enjoyed the first half so much, I could barely keep myself from snoozing during the second half…
Didn’t enjoy and skipped a lot:
1. Stalker girl - offputting… Couldnt the writers come up with more meaningful relationship for Sung Hoon character?!
2. Antiquated plotline for the heir to be a top executive even when he didnt intend to be one, chose completely different field to study, can support himself with his proffession, which he is obviously good at and passionate about. What’s the point of him being dragged into this - he is sick to his stomach from it - when the simple solution would be to hire people who are good at it and have motivation…
3. Cheaters’ relationship…soooo cold… I honestly dont see any attraction between those two. And no logic.. How could a man who was in love with a smart, upbeat, beautiful (even with her puffy cheeks) girl for 15 years choose someone with no personality and cold like a fish, who has obvious psych issues (who on earth keeps a grudge for so long?!!)..
4. Leads that I loved so much have almost no skinship - barely kissed each other until the last 2 eps. How is that even possible for two mature adults who have been in relationships before to have almost no contact for most of the time…
5. Then plot lost the rest of logic alltogether: -how could 5 cars meet each other coming from all differen places… Seriously - explain how can that be possible?!
-no one thought to notify FL of the accident (supposedly they were friends).. and then ML insistance not to see her - what kind of childish selfish crap is that?! After that Im like “Tap tap tap - drop him”…
To my relief ep 15-16 were watchable with romantic and cute scenes.
I actually enjoy Lee Hyun Woo character - think he plays this mysterious bad guy so well and his charecter is intriguing… (although I stopped on episode 10 waiting for the last one to air).. He’s getting some hate in the comments, probably deservedly - but I have a feeling there will be justification why he’s doing it in the end…we will see 😅
I felt represented as someone with hipothyroidism that struggles losing weight. But I could kill the second couple…
Was that what she had?! - I guessed it right then… On ep 2 and was suspecting underlying condition of hypothyroidism because he kept saying she has low temp… Yes very hard to loose weight when that’s the issue.
Great to hear! 🎉 He really stands out - and all those wild dog scenes were great, especially tango - watched it multiple times 😅Now thinking of it want to watch it again 😁💃🏼🕺
Nice episode! they nailed it with the pacing and storytelling.. I see how it would be easy to get things messed up with editing given Past/Present story - but it flows even with week long interruptions.. Lee Hyun Woo doing amazing portraing this mysterious character… Impressed with Kim Yi Kyung as well. Missed kiddo Yul though - he didn’t have any screen time…😳 Heart breaks for our main couple - especially car scene - well done both! ❤️💙 Can’t wait for next episode🌹
Hi, can I ask around what episode did they get feelings for each other? I just need some hope and somethign to…
It’s a slow build up but by the end of ep 5 it’s evident that they realize to have feelings for each other (still resisting though) 😁 By the end of ep 7 - the game is on… Confession a bit later end of 9… ☺️
This show sets up a completely different standard for any drama I’ve watched and going to watch. My favorite one is One Spring Night and I’ve been looking for something as realistic and thought provoking for a long time… Although somewhat different stories - the realistic feel is the same plus maturity of the leads and an enjoyable ride watching these couples trying to find their paths to each other. Sweet fluff is good but you can only take it so much and then you crave for something as substantial as OSN and this show. This also felt like an upgraded contemporary version of Somethkng about 1%.
Enjoying this show so much - giving me the feels of both Our Blues and Reply 1988. Love how they intertwine the present and past - very smooth.. All the characters are intriguing and can’t wait to learn all their stories - well done show! 😁👏👏🌹
waited to review since it was only my 3rd kdrama now I've seen like 30 and it's still one of my absolute favorites,…
Same for me - one of the first Korean dramas I watched… and still think highly of it. Recently noticed how low the rating dropped and was taken aback. I love meaningful and realistic stories like this one - with real jobs and content that actually makes you curious - which it absolutely had with all the weather related subjects.. The dialogs were really good and thought provoking. I loved all the characters, maybe not so much the cheating couple - but was actually pleased that writers didn’t make them pure evil but gave them humane storyline..like in real life - no one is 100% bad or good - we all have weaknesses and make mistakes. The main thing is to learn from them and I think that couple did. Song Kang was amazing. As for Park Min Young I think this role is my favorite of hers.
