Was it necessary to drag all of the power rangers to Seul? whatās wrong with staying in their hometown? I thought…
The show starts with them broken up. They get back together in the end of Ep 13. and no breaks up after. Yes there is a third party involved -did not bother me. Yes to HEā¦
The first 15 episodes I absolutely loved and enjoyed every minute of the show - the humor, friendship, sisterhood…
Was it necessary to drag all of the power rangers to Seul? whatās wrong with staying in their hometown? I thought that was the point of this show⦠but I guess unless you make it in the city you are considered a failure?!?!⦠Also Is long distance relationship for the sake of work really that exciting of an ending? They were apart for years and all we got in the end them being apart again⦠Here where writers couldāve used a bit of creativity⦠and it wouldnāt be that hard in this day and age when so many jobs can be done remotely⦠And my last complaint - why the Arab prince again⦠why?!! Anyway - I will definitely rewatch this show, but not the last episode š As a side note, it felt much better when I watched Hometown Cha Cha Cha right after this one - that was totally satisfying beautiful ending! š¹
The first 15 episodes I absolutely loved and enjoyed every minute of the show - the humor, friendship, sisterhood and romance- but in ep 16 it felt like the writers have chosen very uncreative wrap up for the characters⦠(my thoughts in the spoiler).
should i watch this? i'm fan of ro woon. but i'm not that much good at historicals. is it interesting? can i actually…
If you a fan of RoWoon and comedy I recommend to at least try it for an episode. Iām not a fan of saeguks and even some highly rated ones I dropped. What got me is the scene when he walks on the street full of people and everyone is gone in a second and heās left standing in the dust⦠I thought what a funny take on saeguk and the show didnāt disappoint throughout. This director really made it unique with how it filmed. Rowoon carries a wonderful comedic presence. After watching Destined with you and him being in a gloomy mood most of the time, this felt really good to see him a bit goofy but cute.
It was good. Especially in the beginning - very funny. Great chemistry between the leads. Not something I will rewatch though - the tone has changed to more serious with politics in the last few episodes which felt kind of draggy and hopeless. Nevertheless, it all ends on a promissing note and no forgiveness at the end for the evil character - thanks for that! One question remained unclear - what happened with the contaminated construction site?
Knowing the ending for The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, I was not really keen to watch this⦠BUT then read your reviewās last sentence⦠LOL - thanks for that! Now I may try watching⦠š š
I started this drama after reading your comment. I'm on episode 4 and I love it so far! I went in with really…
Lol - thanks for telling me that! you know same happened to me - I saw two great comments that made me reconsider. š I really liked the humor and unusual style of filming of this Director and now watching Into the Ring - another show I would never normally see myself choose because itās about politics. But itās really fun and I guess itās all about how the story is told. š
Great Side note! As a healthcare professional I watch in disbelief all the drinking/passing out on steroids practiced in S.Korea - as portrayed in K-dramas. I would love to get a hold of the population studies with percentages of alcohol related dementia, liver cihhorsis and failure in S. Korea compared to other countries.
This drama is great - light and funny, with beautiful cinematography, unusal take on saeguk, cute leads (especially Rowoon character- goofy but very sweet), and interesting supporting characters. Especially liked MLās servant and FLās brother. The story is not too tense and vicious like some saeguks tend to be and the humor is blended in nicely throughout. I like how consistent this drama is. With so many shows which start light but continue as ongoing heartache, this drama managed to be very leveled. Another strong side of the drama is beautiful scenery and cinematography. I couldnt but admire the summer setting, the rural beauty, and sunrise shoots.
I liked that the show is ultimately about independent women: - women who are masterminds behind their husband decisions - the ones who work for a living and can support their family (even their spouse who may lose his job) - the ones who save men - not being saved by men - the ones who declair that they cant stand « noble idiocy » and will find the way to be with their chosen one. Yeah, I enjoyed this drama very much!
