Also Mi So’s father and Young Joon’s interactions are hilarious. As well as with his friend… You can feel the chemistry and actors feeding of each other - best comedic moments!
His acting is so enjoyable to watch! Laughing a lot at his character in What’s wrong with secretary Kim and before that Oh my ghost and Weightlifting Fairy KBJ. So much fun!!
this drama really bring up the fact about crazy fansand all those types of fan out their even if you knowyour…
Yes - and this is what bothered me about this show the most..... I like the actors but I like them in the role of a given drama or a movie, not personally. It's just weird people cannot find this separation.
I loved it! It’s an inspiring story delivered in a humorous, fun way. Everyone did an amazing job! Bookmarked this movie since watching Be Melodramatic and screenwriter-director Lee Byung Hun - really enjoyed the dialogs, humor and mockery of modern trends.
Thank you for informative well written article! I’ve always been impressed with the length Korean actors and crew go in order to make these dramas - huge respect! I find it hypocritical though that alcoholism is basically promoted in each and every k-drama but rarely if ever they show real consequences of such behavior/addiction. DUI is just one of them…
Victimization has become such a hot trend those past few years, people yearn to be the victim so they can get attention…
Lol - thanks for the comment. From Russian American here. Bottom line people have to stop thinking too much of themselves and just enjoy fiction. Isn’t it why all of us watching it anyways…
This drama is definitely a 10/10 for me. The story with its language and meaning is stunning. So refreshing and thought provoking in a drama. Episode 14 was the best - I felt their pain and cried their tears. So meaningful and close to heart even with a fantasy plot this is about what we all humans feel deepest - loss and love. Actors did such a perfect job - thanks to them it felt so real! I’m so impressed with both main leads. Doom who meant to be fear and pain, presents with such love and kindness - fascinating to watch. Couldn’t get enough of them. 💙❤️ The writing is exceptional and dialogs strike you right in your heart. The OST and visuals - absolutely loved it all! 🌹🌹🌹
I was thinking to rewatch on Viki because I felt like subtitles on Netflix didn’t give me a full interpretation…
Oh I see what you are saying. Some users like that Viki subs the lyrics. I don’t care about those that much - sometimes it mixes with the conversation - gets me confused :-)
Finally finished it on Netflix. Watched half of it on Viki then stopped. The subtitles are unbearable on Viki.…
I was thinking to rewatch on Viki because I felt like subtitles on Netflix didn’t give me a full interpretation of the meaningful dialog. And that’s what I loved about this drama the most - unlike many others it actually had deeper meaning besides moving along the storyline.
Run On and Doom at Your Service kind of ruined him for me but I'm loving him in EAW so far so I'm hopeful
So interesting I kind of felt the same - first watched EAW and really liked him - I think he was perfect for that role. Now watching Doom at your service and a bit underwhelmed. Also hopeful and glad there is another season of EAW scheduled and he is in it 😊
Sorry to say, but this is actually a poorly written romcom. I have watched plenty of them, but none were as stupid…
I was as perplexed initially watching all the absurd scenes in this drama, until finally realized joke is on me… Exaggeration here is intentional and meant to be absurd and cliche to the point of parody. When you look at this drama through such lens it makes sense and you actually realize how brilliantly it laughs at all those tropes.
This is ridiculously funny - all the tropes and cliches of a drama made fun of!! I didn’t even realize it’s parody for 5 episodes - now it all makes sense: parachuting to work, English castle, helicopter rescue… Brilliant! 🤣👏
And I agree with everything!
I usually don’t pay attention to such things, but that voice is really good!
