I feel that she felt guilty for being still alive. She is a lost lamb with a lost soul. She is a broken princess who needs to find herself, who she is now/identity (no longer the princess), what she wants to do with her life, her purpose etc.

It's the fault of every party's action: Sui Princess, SheEr, ChangGe and AS.
Can understand that she was quite lost after she lost her family ... no home to go back to, no family to lean on, can't even go back to mother land without being hunted, all purpose is gone. What kept her going was her needs to revenge her family ... which I find now it might just an excuse she created herself to continue to live on. She is like a weed.
I can also understand why she had to rescue the old general. He was someone dear to her and was her father's loyal general. She cannot turn a blind eye and let him suffer such humiliation under the hands of Khan. If she did, then she wouldn't be ChangGe but wimpy Shuyu. She learned a very hard lesson on this incident.

So I guess that scene where ChangGe said to the girl she did something bad to Ashile Sun, must be she indirectly caused his nanny to die.
